I perhaps had one of my worst weeks on this app in a long time. Miss after miss after miss. We pointed out that it may be getting harder as we get into conference play, and it seems as if that was the case in Week 4. However, we can’t let bad weeks cloud our judgment. We can’t get greedy. We can’t get desperate. We must stay the course. After some early looks this week, I already like a lot of the numbers they have to offer, and there will be even more numbers to come. It’s time to rob this daily fantasy sports app.

*Numbers are subject to change*

Aggie of the Week (2-2 Record)

QB Marcel Reed
MORE THAN 1.5 Passing TDs
Yes, the low-hanging fruit is in Mario Craver MORE THAN 67.5 receiving yards. Obviously, you’d be a silly goose not to sprinkle that in lineups this week. However, I wanted to point out another number that I really like. With Auburn defensive back Jay Crawford potentially out and Reed passing for two or more touchdowns in every game this season, I like this play a lot.

Lineup of the Week

Germie Bernard, WR, Alabama
MORE THAN 57.5 Receiving Yards
Bernard has by far been the best receiver for the Crimson Tide despite Ryan Williams’ reemergence in their most recent game. Ty Simpson is actually playing really good football right now, and after this game last year, the Bulldogs might have their eye out for Williams, leaving Bernard with a lot of potential opportunity to hit this number. With Ryan Grubb seemingly opening up the offense more and more every week, give me Bernard.

Jackson Arnold, QB, Auburn
MORE THAN 181.5 Passing Yards
You’re right. This is just criminal of me. However, Hugh Freeze had Payton Thorne throwing for 300+ yards in this game last year, and Jackson Arnold is working with a better wide receiver room against an A&M defense that hasn’t greatly impressed…yet. While the Aggie in me wants to see improvement from this secondary, the businessman in me knows what we have to do.

James Peoples, RB, Ohio State
LESS THAN 39.5 Rushing Yards
Ohio State’s last two games have been against Grambling and Ohio, but there seems to be a third running back that has emerged in this backfield. Bo Jackson (this is a different Bo Jackson) has rushed for 100 yards in back-to-back games on a much greater efficiency than CJ Donaldson and Peoples. In fact, Peoples hasn’t had more than 10 carries all season. This will be a “riding the hot hand” type of backfield, and it seems like the other backs have the edge right now.

Makai Lemon, WR, USC
LESS THAN 95.5 Receiving Yards
It doesn't seem like a great idea to go against one of the better wide receivers in college football, especially when USC is playing against an Illinois team that let Indiana put up 63 points on them. However, Illinois was dealing with some injuries to the secondary that seem to be getting cleared up, and USC wideout Ja’Kobi Lane is back in practice after missing last week’s game against Michigan State. Between these two things, 95.5 is a lot of yards.

Marcel Reed, QB, Texas A&M
MORE THAN 1.5 Passing TDs
For all of the reasons written above, we are in on this.

Other Dawson Selections

Chamon Metayer, TE, Arizona State - MORE THAN 31.5 Receiving Yards
Jeremyiah Love, RB, Notre Dame - MORE THAN 100.5 Rushing Yards
Stephon Johnson, WR, Houston - MORE THAN 37.5 Receiving Yards
Jamal Haynes, RB, Georgia Tech - MORE THAN 89.5 Rushing Yards (Demon)
Kaden Feagin, RB, Illinois - LESS THAN 55.5 Rushing Yards
