Going back-to-back.
On Monday afternoon, Texas A&M's Ifenna Cos-Okpalla earned her second consecutive SEC Player of the Week and Defensive Player of the Week honors.
The accolades come after another successful week of conference play from Jamie Morrison & Co.
The No. 9 Aggies notched their seventh straight win of the season with dominant wins over South Carolina and Alabama.
Look no further than Cos-Okpalla as to why.
The senior continues to build on her electric final campaign. Nationally, she ranks sixth in blocks per set (1.66) and leads the SEC in total blocks (78) and solo blocks (11).
The stats say it, but SEC competition is actually learning just how lethal Cos-Okpalla can be.
Despite some early adversity, Cos-Okpalla's 10 stuffs and seven kills allowed the Aggies to make quick work of South Carolina on Wednesday.
On Sunday, the middle shined at the service line, logging a career-high five aces in the win, becoming only the second Aggie to record five aces in a conference sweep in program history.
Additionally, the Flower Mound native added six kills and four blocks in the contest, accounting for 13 points.
A weapon in all phases of the game, she is a huge reason for the rise of Morrison’s program, sitting at No. 9 in the recent AVCA Poll.
The Aggies are heading into a big week as they will host the first-ever top 10 matchup at Reed Arena, welcoming No. 3 Kentucky to Reed Arena.
Expect her play to only heat up as conference play does, too.
