
More honors keep rollin' in for Jamie Morrison's star-studded squad.
After a pair of sweep vs. SEC foes, Texas A&M's Logan Lednicky was named SEC Player of the Week and Offensive Player of the Week, while Maddie Waak garnered SEC Setter of the Week.
Off to A&M's best start in conference action since joining the league, the pair has been responsible for not only the surge this season, but transforming the program into one of the nation's best.
Lednicky captured her first two honors of the season with one of her most stellar weekends yet. After she was honored on senior weekend, Lednicky totaled 32 kills, 23 digs and hit at a .491 clip. Against Arkansas, the senior tied her own program record of 22 kills in a three-set match. She also set a new career-high in hitting percentage (.606) in matches over 10 kills. She also recorded a double-double in Friday's win over Oklahoma.
With 1,459 career kills to her name in Aggieland, the All-American is just three shy of taking eighth place in the A&M record books.
One of the SEC's most profolic distributers of the ball, A&M's offense continues to thrive off of Maddie Waak. She garnered her first SEC weekly honor after leading the Aggies through six quick frames this weekend, racking up 65 assists. Against the Razorbacks, the senior's efficiency was sky-high, averaging 12 assists per set. As the national leader in assists per set (11.56) squarely through the 2025 season, Waak and her offense have swept three straight conference oppenents.
The LSU transfer will look to do the same against her former squad on Friday night.
After a trip to Baton Rouge on Friday, Morrison & Co. will head over to Ole Miss on Sunday. Lednicky and Waak will be key pieces in riding the momemtum on the road.
