Knotted at 1-1 heading into the final minutes, sophomore Taylor Jernigan found the bottom left of the goal to propel Texas A&M to a 2-1 victory over Connecticut. Additionally, Trinity Buchanan scored her third goal in as many matches.

Fightin' Texas Aggie soccer returns to Aggieland on Thursday, Aug. 14, as the Maroon & White open the 2025 season against Baylor. G Guerrieri & Co. brought in 10 transfer portal additions this offseason, who will aim to make a difference at Ellis Field this fall.

In their first exhibition match of the year, Texas A&M soccer downed the Rice Owls on Tuesday night at Ellis Field, 4-0. Taylor Jernigan, Bailey Cate, Savannah Hutchins and Leah Pirro provided the Maroon & White offense, while a trio of Aggie goalkeepers combined for the clean sheet.
