I'm going to cheat and not exactly answer your question, but I'd want a 2nd pair caliber, puck moving, right handed defenseman & a middle 6 caliber left winger. You get a partner for Lindell and replace some of Robo's production. I don't think trading him straight up for a defenseman works.

He has a one way contract but as long as Galardi is willing to eat the $775k we can send him to the AHL and get full cap relief

I would settle for Nill just not signing Dumba in the first place. Everyone knew it was a bad signing at the time.

As good as Nill is he does have his boneheaded moments.

As hard as it is to believe, it's almost time for Legal Custodian to start up the '25-'26 thread.

Some dates are starting to trickle out, and the regular season schedule should be out any day now.

September 13-14: Prospect games against Detroit. Dallas is hosting this year at the Comercia Center in Frisco. Admission is free, and it's a great opportunity to see the young prospects and some competitive hockey.

September 17-20: Training camp in Frisco

September 20: First preseason game against St. Louis (in Dallas).

He was hurt, probably rushed back in the playoffs, took a few games to get back to form... I thought he did fine but wasn't enough against a hot team. I'd like to see to him with a different coach for a year or two before calling him a dud.

You seem to really hate the players on this team.

They have made the WCF three years in a row. It wasn't all just Pete Deboer's brilliance that got them there.
