If used to play on HBO when I was in intermediate school. I was home with mono for two or three weeks and saw it and Dr. Zhivago every day. Those two movies could kill a whole day.

One of my favorites as a kid as well. My Mom recorded it off Disney Channel on VHS I think. Either way I had a home VHS recorded copy.

Going Overboard (1989) was Adam Sandler's first lead role and it was horrible. He plays the character of a stand up comedian named Shecky Moslowitz who is hired to work on a cruise ship.

It's surprising that he ever got the chance to join the cast of SNL after such an unfunny movie. It was so low budget that it almost feels like something made for public access television. I've run into a couple of Adam Sandler fans that have never heard of it and want to watch it. After they did, they wished they hadn't.

Bad 80's horror about giant rats on steroids. One of my friends was a volunteer caddy at a celebrity golf tournament for Scatman Caruthers and asked him about it. He started cussing about how tough it was trying to act scared while pretending to be eaten by dachshunds dressed up in rat costumes.
It is actually funny to watch as the dogs waddle towards the victims.
