Arctic weather (56 degrees) here in west Georgia/east Alabama and only getting up to 80 today. This is not real summer! But…

61 in Charlotte; dog was actually up for a walk. Work.

• Friday's date is all planned, now I just need the time between then and now to go away already
• Headphones + straight back earrings today = ouch!
• Finished up Strangers in Paradise Vol. 1 yesterday and it was awesome! On to the 2nd today
• Morning meeting that I'm actually attending is about to start so time for that + round 2 of coffee

Don't do anything I wouldn't do!

- Beagle alarm at 6:00
- Made some delicious coffee
- Have to take my bass trombone into the shop to get it repaired after a solder joint failed
- Going to the bustling metropolis that is Nacogdoches today for a meeting

I bought a new beard wash and it has instructions for "adults and children 3+". Lot of bearded children out there, I guess.

On-call for work today, so I can't get out to run errands. Have had lots of errands to run since Tanya's death.

Hoping for a quiet day at work to be followed by binging more Barney Miller. I'm up to season 6 now. I'm missing Fish (Abe Vigoda's character). I found myself really relating to him. Further confirmation that I'm a cranky old man.

Beautiful day in store. 55F when I bought my coffee this morning, topping out at 82F this afternoon with sunshine and a dew point in the high 40s.

What service are you using to stream Barney Miller?

I downloaded a torrent with all eight seasons. I have no idea if any of the streaming services show it.

I'd never seen Barney Miller before, but one of the channels at my hotel in Texas (fetv) showed two episodes a night, and I loved it.

* Date night tonight with my wife
* Planted herbs (from seeds) last weekend. I know it's super late, to the point of almost being pointless, but I at least wanted to get acclimated to the process/tips. Some have already sprouted (Thyme, Basil).
* Saw a squirrel in the backyard chewing my St. Augustine grass. I didn't know squirrels ate that.

• Dinner with hubs last night at Maria Mia's.
• Slept decent
• HEB Kolaches and homemade Starbucks dupe coffee this AM.
• Made hubs one of the coffees as he had an early meeting and he enjoyed it.
• Meetings
• Lunch errands - gonna pick up some snacky snacks for my class today
• Teach class
• Travel work this evening.
• Try to go on a walk. Did NOT go last night.

- I look CRAAAAZY from the laser yesterday. That makes me happy because it seems like it's doing work!
- Gonna see if I can do grocery pick up so I don't have to see the world like this.
- Allergies are still nuts. I left mountain cedar behind so I don't know what it is that's causing this reaction; it's as extreme as mountain cedar for me and I don't know what else I'm allergic to on that scale. Annoying as hell.
- Camp hangover. I miss it and my campers.

Puppies were excited to go to daycare this morning. We can't even say that word because they know what it means and start going crazy. They love going to romp around with friends.

Hmmmph.
Our cats pout for days when we return from a trip. Never mind that we pay good money for a person to come in, feed them, scoop their potty box of solid waste and refresh their water.

I would say it was more discomfort after the whole thing was done. My face was HOT, like I'd when you step under a hot shower with a sunburn, for about 2 hours immediately after the procedure. That sucked. From there it was more sensitive until this morning. Now it just feels tight and textured like sandpaper but no pain. I'll have a lot of skin flake off in the next few days. It's gonna be awesome

I wanna do this!!! I have sun spots from 30+ years of sun bathing. But I also still wanna sun bathe. Waste of money?

Maybe not if you always wear sunscreen and cover your face when laying out. I LOVE sunbathing but I don't really do it anymore.
