Something i learned in the army that continues to serve me well: Volunteer for every job that is tolerable, that way when something truly awful comes up its not your turn/you're already working on the other thing.
You get better gas mileage if you keep your tank at least half full.

When on the highway with long stretches of little traffic, stay in the middle or rightmost lane. Police more likely to pull someone over who's going "fast" in the left lane
Also, buffer yourself in the left lane, especially if speeding; ensure there's a non police vehicle behind you so you're not the target. Ideally there's someone not too far ahead of you also who's also going a similar speed

Google says it's a myth but it works for me. Maybe there are other factors that are causing it instead of the gas tank being full.
It cannot improve your gas mileage. This is called a placebo.

The other factor is that automotive fuel gauges are well-known to be non-linear.
Not wanting to derail but for most vehicles you SHOULD try to keep your tank above a quarter tank because you likely have a fuel pump in the tank that uses the fuel for cooling.

I don't think this method would affect gas mileage near as much as the accelerator pedal, idling and what gear you are in.
Before Buckys existed and needed to use the restroom, stop at a nice hotel. The bathroom in the hotel lobby is always very clean, because they don't want to gross out potential guests.
When you're coming up to a 4 way stop at the same time as another car, stop before the stop sign. That way you stop first and therefore get to go first.

Seriously. Append a Sir or Ma'am and include all ages down to children and it's kinda ridiculous how much attention it draws coast to coast and how much it's appreciated. It's just normal for me and most of my area but you stick out like a sore thumb elsewhere.
