I never said that preserving white culture was inherently bad.

So do you believe that it is inherently bad or that it isn't?

Good question. I don't believe it's inherently bad.

He seems very cordial no matter who he was talking to in his debates. I haven't seen that many of his videos but I never saw one where he was hateful, etc.

Thats because its a lie. They never can produce these hateful in context comments or videos.

I know its been brought up a few times that Charlie wasnt living christian values. Id like to offer this as a rebuttal to that. "Christian values" arent just love and compassion. Being Christ-like requires us to lead others away from sin.

Edit- its a video of Charlie talking about John Ch. 8

They don't care - they use Christianity as a tool to try to hold you to a higher standard than they apply to themselves. They don't understand it or follow it themselves, so they take a watered down version of it with snippets and gotchas so they can label you a hypocrite while they celebrate degeneracy.

But I applaud your efforts and if it plants doubt in even one mind it's worth it.

Believe it or not, people can generally form opinions about you based upon the thoughts and ideas you publicly display.

Maybe! But one might say that without knowing a person in real life that judgments made from online snippets are taken out of context and made to fit an agenda…

Here's the thing - I am having to work hard to come to the (now) educated opinion that his beliefs are harmful to people I deeply care about. I've worked through his comments about women, saying that named prominent black women don't have the brain processing power, and that it was a mistake to pass the civil rights act. I don't think I'll continue.

I've learned that the statements aren't within their context, yes. But the context isn't helping THAT much. Having these beliefs is one thing, but he traveled the country trying to persuade people to believe the same things. He spent lots of money toward these causes that many believe are hurtful.

I believe he was motivated my self preservation, preservation of white culture and traditional society and what some might call Christian values - but I don't agree that they are all Christian values and I don't find his opinions to be promoting love and acceptance.

I see your perspective…and what I am going to say is that I know that are some on the right that will say vile things about the left…I just want to say that, because my response will not be from that place.

I am a straight white male, and over the last 10 30 years, straight white men have absolutely been s*** on from quite of few people on the left to the point I am over it…I have never been one to concern myself with race, like I didn't care…I also never saw a woman as less than a man…I viewed everyone on equal footing…I am fully aware of what people of color have gone through since the founding of this country, I also recognize what women have gone through as well. What I am not going to do it to continue to being told that being a white male that I am somehow the problem…these people don't know my life, what I have done to get where I am at, and the struggles…just because I am white doesn't mean I don't have struggles….

Yes, I like Charlie Kirk, yes he spoke through his Christian values and his love of God…he was consistently respectful to the people he debated, while they weren't respectful towards him…this is a loss to America, regardless of what your politics are…he allowed debate where we are in a society that no longer fosters debate…people immediately scream hate and move on.

It's been going on a lot longer than that.

Even my wife noticed in the 90's the TV shows and commercials, the man was always the dumb one and the wife was the powerful, smart one in any interaction.

But it's certainly gotten worse in the last 10 years.

No idea what youre referencing, but the entire point of Christianity is that you're not living up to it and you need a savior to deliver you from your sin. To say "I am a good Christian" is to be a bad Christian.

This is a common trick the communist will play. They try to use our values against us when they themselves put no stock in them at all.

Just do good deeds and worry less about one is a "good" or "bad" Christian.

Anyone can be good by doing good. Or bad by doing bad.

Not that hard.

lol at the people who don't like the OP because it reminds them of f16 but post in a manner that is very f16ish. As my man Michelle Obama once said, "they go low, we go high".

That's the left for you. All that name calling and when asked for proof, NONE.
All emotion, no logic. Like talking to the wife.

RIP Charlie.

I had to reread your post.

I said this the first day " I'm no fan of the radical left but I hope that they cry out as loud as anyone else. (meaning they decry this horrible violence) The assassination was completely against a civil society and the putrid act done by a coward was very un-American. ALL should unite for at least a few days. This should not be political. We should all stand united."

So maybe read back and figure out what im referencing....

A few people on here have said that Charlie didn't espouse Christian morals or values, because he was honest about his beliefs and convictions (presumably about his outspokenness of saying transgendered persons suffer from a mental illness, and would not refer to them by their chosen pronouns but rather by their biological ones). My post was to show that Chridtian values and morals arent just to tell everyone how great they are and how loved they are just the way they think they are, but that we are called to have the courage and conviction to speak the truth even when it may make someone uncomfortable.
