This is why McD stopped keep mayo satchets outside and you have to ask them. I saw this change happen in the mid 90s. Because people would take a lot home.

On the other hand Costco is an evil corporation, and this woman is legally ripping them off, so props to her.

I was at Costco the other day and saw a mom with three kids. The kids were getting water glasses while I was picking up my order.

Get over to the Coke machine and all three are filling them with soda right in front of their mom. You saved $1.50 to let your kids know it's okay to steal. Great job.

feels like a ragebait twitter post. Should she be doing this? No. But is this a reason for increased prices and changes at Costco? Doubtful.

She's getting like $5 of lemonade from Costco who only charges $.79 a drink. The entire food court is a loss leader for them and there can't be more than 20 people a year that do this (given how rare is seems to pop up in social media). Costco probably loses more in a single day from a single store's employee shrinkage than the combined theft of fountain drinks yearly.

I can't imagine truly caring about something like this.
