I find that if you think the pour over is some insurmountable obstacle for your need time wise, then just stick with Keurig or get a Nespresso. A pour over will be about the same amount of work start to finish as some of these other suggestions that actually take more set up/take down/maintenance input.

I rinse out the French press before starting the next batch. Usually throw it in the dishwasher once a week. It's pretty low maintenance.

The guy feels that making coffee with reuseable K-cups is too much work and you thought it was a good idea to recommend using a French press? I think you just want to brag that you love coffee so much that you use a French press.

OP is lazy and wants a coffee maker that grinds and brews a cup of coffee for him. He wants to wake up and press a button and then go take a sht and after he's done, go enjoy a hot cup of coffee.

He might do best with a drip coffeemaker that has a grinder built in. That's about as easy as it gets while still grinding your own beans.

Zojirushi also makes insulated mugs that work almost too well. They will keep coffee piping hot for over 6 hours.

That reminds me of a good memory. For years, my Granny setup the coffee pot every night so at 5am when my Pop got up he could just the flip switch on exactly like the post above mentioned. And, his favorite beer was Milwaukee Best Light. Must be something about those guys.
