Man I hate when they over sell a match.. you know the match was ok when they have to over hype it. My review is posted above. but overall it was a good match w/ some solid bumps but nothing to write home about. Glad that Rhea won.. now have Flair chase the title for a while.

CONFIRMED MATCHES FOR NIGHT 1: (April 1st )

Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles Match - Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens vs. The Usos (c)
Great match.. but man the near falls and the fact that Owens and Zayn were super human.. able to kick out clean from D1 and multiple finishers just made it a bit to much.. but then again who does not love near falls. At one point, I told Mrs Ambres that I had no clue which way the match was going. Even though I called (humble brag moment) Sami Zayn and Kevin Owen winning.. this match made it so that it was very unclear. All the wrestler gave it their all and they did a great job selling the story. Now that the bloodline loses the belt... what now. I am interested to see what they do tomorrow and Monday. 4.7/5.0 stars. Second best match of the night. I still think the Seth vs Paul Logan was better but this was not far behind.

Miz vs Pat McAfee
This is an example of booking a match with no real purpose and frankly wasting talent. The Miz played the role of a jobber who allow Pat to do everything. He even took a bump from Kittle. The match would have work alot better if it was LA King who came out w/ Pat on ringside. LA Knight fighting Miz w/ assistance from Kittle and Pat would have been awesome. A wasted moment... but Pat look good.. to what end .. who knows 2.2/5.0 stars.. the match did have a few good spots.


SmackDown Women's Title Match - Rhea Ripley vs. Charlotte Flair (c)
Strong match that looked brutal and glad to see Rhea winning it. It would be good for Flair to chase the title where she is better suited. Judgement Day now has a title .. so will that make the Dominik her valet? Anyway solid match but would not rate it in the top because didn't feel like we had an amazing momement. 3.8/5.0 stars

Rey Mysterio vs. Dominik Mysterio - match didn't dissappoint in almost every way including having Judgement Day, LWO, Mysterio family and Bad Bunny. This is an example of story telling and just a well crafted match .. all the way until the very end. I honestly don't understand why Rey wins this match. Like Cena, Rey should have been defeated clean by his son. It would help propel Dominik and it is good story telling. All I can think is that they plan for this to happen during Backlash. Rate this a 4.5/5.0 stars. Would have been higher if they had a better ending. (Rey could have won but not clean).


Damage CTRL (Bayley, Dakota Kai, IYO SKY) vs. Trish Stratus, Becky Lynch & Lita
Ok.. I found this to be the exact opposite of Seth Rollins and Logan Paul. Lita looked bad out there. She was gassed early in the match and seem to have a hard time doing some simple spots. Trish looked Hot.. and I could not judge her cause.. she is sooo hot @ 47 yrs old.. wow. They had a good idea but they should have split Trish and Lita to separate teams so that they can cover up the ring rust and minimize their mistakes. Overall this is the worse match tonight at 2.8/5.0 stars.

Logan Paul vs. Seth Rollins - Seth wins and this match was awesome!! Right now this is the match to beat. Great story telling by having Seth target the hand.. so later when he get hit, they can explain why he is not knocked out. Love the spot w/ KSI.. can watch that over and over. Got to give Logan Paul credit.. for a guy who didn't come up in wrestling, he is legit and really did a great job. (though I think he botched the knee slam). Overall give this match a 4.8/5.0 ,, pretty perfect including the opening conductor.. (note wife wants Seth outfit)


Men's Tag Team Fatal 4 Way - The Viking Raiders vs. Braun Strowman & Ricochet vs. Alpha Academy vs.
The Street Profits
Well I got this one wrong. Street Profits won this match and even though it started out a bit of a mess.. this match had some incredible spots. Love Gable vs Strowman part. Also, love everything that Ricochet was involve in .. including the 5 man suplex and his shot star press to the outside of the ring. Much better match then I anticipated. 3.5/5.0 stars .. exceeded my expectation.


WWE United States Title Match - John Cena vs. Austin Theory (c)
Cena giving back .. came on for a show and was willing to sell the fight. Great job. Nice start but the match was a solid 3 out of 5 stars.. nothing to write home.. everyone did the job.. but not memorable. Note: Mrs Ambres was surprise to see Cena bald spot and was fixed on that the entire match.

Ok tomorrow we have some great matches and hopefully it builds from here. We had 8 matches including an unannounced squash match.. I believe LA Knight, Corbin and Bobby Lashley will show up tomorrow. Finally, keep hoping that Sasha Banks shows up (Doubt it.. just hoping)

Bianca retains the belt.. unless she is injure.. she doesn't drop the belt to Asuka.. unless they plan to use Asuka to be a transition champion to get the belt to Becky.

Triple Threat for the WWE Intercontinental Title - Sheamus vs. Drew McIntyre vs. GUNTHER (c)
The match will be a Banger and I expect Gunther to retain the belt. Sheamus takes the pinfall regardless so that neither Drew or Gunther look weak.

Hell In a Cell "The Demon" Finn Balor vs. Edge
Fan match.. Edge wins in what might be the match of the night. that saying alot cause this is a good card.

Brock Lesnar vs. Omos
Brock wins in what will be describe as the most boring match of the night. Expect F5 and they will try to recreate badly the magic of Andre the Giant vs Hulk Hogan... w/o the build up. This really should have been Bobby Lashley, Brock Lesnar and Omos in a tipple threat.


Women's Tag Team Fatal 4 Way - Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez vs. Natalya & Shotzi vs. Ronda Rousey
& Shayna Baszler vs. Chelsea Green & Sonya Deville
Did you forget to take out the trash.. this is the match you get up and do it on.. I like the wrestler but too many bodies and no real purpose. The woman tag division has been a joke and the teams hadn't built any chemistry. Sadly this will a soft skip for me.. who wins.. not the audience.. but most likely it will be Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez w/ Chelsea Green taking the pin.

KO eating the Snickers on the table during the press conference cracked me up for no reason

While I havnt followed wrestling since my HS days we did for some reason splurge on floor tickets to Royal Rumble in SA. Not to self, unless your super close ringside floor tickets aren't smart. Nobody ever sat down and even being 6 2 I still spent the entire time looking up at the big screens. However, I found myself flipping back and forth last night just to watch. I think Wrestling is just so ridiculous it's hard to not watch once you start- at least for me. I thought the final Tag Team match was pretty cool to see. I could've done without "Aaron Aaron Rodgers personal propaganda machine" Mcafee match but it was still funny. The entire family dynamic with the Mysterios was a little much for my liking but nothing too bad. All in all, I'm sure I'll be flipping it on this evening as well.

I have done such a complete 180 on Dom. When he first debuted I thought "what a complete waste of a roster spot, this guy is NEVER going to get over and is going to have X-Pac, go away hear his entire career."

His entrance last night was so effing awesome and he has now become the second best heel in the company. Must see tv.

Well I was wrong. Cody lost an amazing match with too many near falls to count. I think they each took like 20 finishers throughout the fight. I know many won't like the ending but this is ok. Cody is going to get the belt .. the question is when. 4.8/5.0 stars.. would have been 5 star if Cody won.

Hell In a Cell "The Demon" Finn Balor vs. Edge

Fan match.. Edge won in the best match of the night so far. This was both entertaining.. told a story.. advance the storyline and gave the fans what they wanted. Normally I hate part-timer coming in but this has been a year long story line that worked very well. (though I would have kept as the leader of Judgement day .. and Balor would have been the face) .. compare to the matches last night this is on par w/ Paul Logan and Seth Rollin match 4.8/5.0 stars.



Miz vs Shane O'Mac - No winner.. Shane falls to a knee injury and then Snoops beat the hell out of Miz. When Paul Logan/Bad Bunny have shown that they can go.. Snope punches Miz twice and that is all.. this is a guy that got beat down by guys like Bobby Lashley and Undertaker.. but two punches from Snope and he goes down like .. you know a real person. (Miz lips were bleeding .. wonder if that was real?.. looked real) .. no score .. hate gimicks .. especially since I would have loved a good Shane vs Miz fight.

RAW Women's Title Match - Asuka vs. Bianca Belair (c)
Bianca won a well thought out match. Some great story telling that really showcase both wrestlers. Nice classic match. Wonder where Bianca goes next. 4.0/5.0 star.

Triple Threat for the WWE Intercontinental Title - Sheamus vs. Drew McIntyre vs. GUNTHER (c)
Well I was right .. this was a banger and Gunther retain. The match felt painful to watch and boy they gave it their all. Was surprise that Drew took the pin. Sad that last year he was been billed as the top guy.. now he is being pushed down the card. Would love to see Drew vs Omos in a long program. Overall . this match didn't dissappoint... giving it 4.3/5.0 stars.

Brock Lesnar vs. Omos
I originally wrote that this would be the most boring match of the night. I am pretty sure I am wrong. This was both an entertaining match that didn't run long, showcase both wrestlers, and finally bury the guy who legit would beat most people on this roster in a real fight. Sorry but why is Omos not getting push to be the top heel. Got it Andre didn't wear the belt often but he didn't need it. Omos needs the belt in order to establish himself. A clean win tonight would have gone a long way. However; very cool to see Brock F5 Omos.. so will forgive it. Solid start for tonight... rating it 3.5/5.0 stars.

(I really do love the women division.. just seem like it has turn into a mess since Stephanie left.)

That was a garbage ending to an otherwise entertaining women's match. Apparently the only way to keep Rhonda from botching a match is to leave her out until the very end and only let her do an arm bar.

That last segment would've been a perfect spot for LA Knight. Could have had a promo-off with him and MIz that would've been second to none, then a short match and victory over Miz... Place would've gone nuts and he would've gotten completely over.

1000% yes.. not sure why Bobby Lashley and LA Knight have not shown up (no i don't count the 2 second plug for Andre the Giant). They have one less match tonight then last night.. maybe they will throw something in after the Hell in the Cell before the main event to give folks a chance to go to the bathroom and get food for the last time

I'm behind, but if Shane got hurt and that was an on-the-fly swerve then Snoop did a great job. His leg looked like it legit buckled on the landing and the cameras cut away.

Well that was an amazing match and boy did I enjoy all the action and story telling. Some very nice innovative match. It actually stuck the landing unlike a few matches earlier tonight. My review is above.
