I laugh when I see a band come through a round two and they have springs, like it's different than Denver.

But I'll take it. I can drive that 50 miles to springs in an hour, not any different than the hour it takes to drive 30 miles into downtown Denver in afternoon traffic lol.

On another note, did anybody attend Leon Bridges and Charley Crockett? I wanted to hit the Woodlands on Sunday but had a scheduling conflict and now the tour is winding down in Austin. The two of them not playing a single D/FW date is one of the stranger touring decisions I've ever seen.

Saw Steve Winwood at Wolf Trap outside DC on Saturday night. Amazing venue and fun concert. Steve is an amazing musician (keyboards and guitar). 1:45 minute set of Spencer Davis, Blind Faith, Traffic, and solo hits. He played Low Spark which was a personal favorite, and blew the place away on Mr. Fantasy. Belmont Tench opened for him - so I felt like I saw two of the greatest rock and roll keyboardist for the price of one ticket. Benmont has had some serious health issues but played a nice set of his own material and closed with American Girl as an homage to TP. All in all a wonderful night.

Heading to Toyota tonight with my son for Bring Me The Horizon. Originally he just wanted tickets for Motionless in White, but since buying the tickets we've got gotten to know BMTH and really like their stuff as well. I'm pretty new to this type of metal and just getting to know all the bands. Since he introduced me, we've seen live:

1st time we saw them we sat with their parents and just chatted it up the entire time.

sorry if it was posted and i missed it but acid bath comes to texas next march. houston with obituary. then i believe the dallas show swaps obituary for baroness. i've been fortunate to see the overwhelming majority of my favorite bands over the years but acid bath is a top 3 all time band for me so i'm not missing this one. never thought in would get the chance. i've seen dax like 12 times probably and seen sammy with goatwh*re a couple times but for obvious reasons no chance for acid bath til now. they sound good on the youtube videos of their recent performances so this should be great. obituary is another band that i somehow never caught live so that's a nice bonus. it's crazy acid bath is so big today they're headlining over these other bands considering they weren't successful at all while active in the 90s. it looks like GA is $80 for the houston show, which probably means i won't be doing both cities as much as id love to see baroness as well.

Enjoy. It's an AcL Friday, CS football game Saturday and ACL Sunday weekend for us. Going to be a long day at work on Monday.

Had a course get canceled due to the shutdown so I was able to grab tickets to see Alice Cooper and Priest on the 26th
