Supposedly one of the reasons Tim Taylor converted to Catholicism is because he got terrified some of the "downloads" from NHI were fallen entities (not necessarily demons, and the aforementioned Alberino is good on this)

Nolan was / is that circle, although since the books some of the Invisible College sources have gone dark, including Taylor

Seriously... why do you continue to do this?

Showing up every few months to do absolutely nothing but belittle, ridicule, and **** on whatever the latest discussion is, only to then scurry away after a day or so, not to be heard from again until you decide to pop in again down the road, repeating the same ******* playbook.

I genuinely want to know what you get out of this, and how you still don't realize that it makes you look just as deranged as you always claim we're being.

Not to mention how insecure you come across as well. Because no one behaves like this/attacks something the way you continuously do without fear - deep down - being the motivating factor. In other words, it's so clear how desperately you don't want any of this be true, hence your never-ending crusade to try and mock it all out of existence. There is simply no other rational explanation.

#1 - "Joes" should absolutely treat others with respect in their posting manner. Not debating that at all, and your comments are fair.

#2 - I do think their commentary and frustration focus around one member of this thread in particular, who tends to hurt the cause more than helps it. I think the commentary of "Maybe don't come into the thread with the really crazy stuff because it makes the more logical things look crazy when they get put in the same bucket" is a fair conversation to have.

... but Joes, maybe don't come in with your guns blazing like Yosemite Sam to make the point. (Continuing the Looney Tunes theme since you mentioned Marvin the Martian)

The problem is that crazy is subjective.
To me, the TicTak stuff is really intriguing... probably at the top of what keeps me interested. Obviously not crazy, they have video of the stuff & multiple credible people saw it from different angles and distances.
Probably man-made, but I'm listening.

Bob Lazar's stuff in my mind is less compelling, but interesting. His consistency is remarkable over the years.

Below that there is a conglomeration of grifters & attention seekers making fake alien bodies, filming Christmas ornaments on strings, etc. I look at the stuff like I used to browse the "National Inquirer" at the checkout line at HEB back in the day.

The spiritual stuff.... that's just a different level. I don't think Angels ride around in TicTaks or crashed in Roswell. I don't know what to make of that intermingling. Is this supposed to be a whole separate "genre" of other worldly (or other dimensional) being, separate from "Greys"? Or are these the same thing?

It's a fun thread to drop in on from time to time. Over 2 years in & nothing super compelling revealed yet. It's like watching soap operas back in the day. Don't watch for a month, then catch an episode to find out things haven't really changed that much at all.

TCTTS is a very valuable contributor to the thread, and it's technically his. We are allied on many points and both are looking forward to the Burlison hearings, and appreciate Luna and Burchett in particular.

I really think these hearings are going to produce noteworthy news.

This was a very good interview. The first third or so establishes Nolan's seriousness and success as a thoughtful scientist in the traditional sense. He is not the sort to leap to wild conclusions. In the last third, he talks about the Sol Foundation's aims, Schumer's UAP disclosure act, Skywatcher, and the non-human, non-extraterrestrial hypothesis. Well worth the watch.

You also provide valuable counter thoughts and narratives that I appreciate - but it also makes people very uncomfortable in a *GOOD* way. Don't blame them one bit. I went through the same feelings and emotions. When you accept that, it really forces you to open your mind to what could be, and not what you have always known.

The comments suggest Frost was making a joke about how far the White House would go to distract from the Epstein files. Probably best not to take this at face value.

Nope, Joe's isn't here in good faith; he is only here to mock the subject in its entirety. He originally posted on this thread pretending to be open and entertaining of the idea and then be like "whoa whoa whoa, Grusch had a beer when he was 19, I'm sorry he has lost all credibility with me and now I think it is all a lie" type crap. While at the same time posting on other forums that he was in the camp it was all complete non-sense and anyone who believed in aliens or angels was an idiot.

Oh, I love Ross Douthat's podcast. He is one of the most objective interviewers I've heard. Very fair.

Not to get too "out there," but because this has been discussed here before I found it interesting. Redstone, I know you're pro invoke-the-name-of-Jesus-during-an-abduction (which might be the craziest sentence I've ever typed), but I know you really respect Alberino as well. Curious to hear your thoughts in that regard...

Alberino talks to important DC people and Burlison appears at his conferences.

He m has significant first-hand experience with High Strangeness in Peru, and indisputably knows prominent shamans and scientists there.

Finally, he is very familiar with the John Mack type researchers, and his gated online community is among the best on the Internet.

I like him because he combines this while taking small o orthodox Christianity seriously, and corresponding with prominent Apostolic (Catholic / Orthodox) apologists, trying to make better sense of the strangeness.

Blurry Creatures is in this good space also, though they are annoying.

That's my take.

This is a wild sentence, and I'm trying to make sense of it
Quote:

Many Christian abductees whom I know personally continue to be abducted
Like, he knows a bunch of Christians being abducted, or he knows some who have been abducted multiple times?

Either way, why are aliens targeting Christians? Also, implies a frequency of abduction that is hard to take seriously
Redstone

Christians are not being targeted.

Alberino's community is an excellent clearinghouse for many of them …. trying to make sense of encountering such evil - small greys (he thinks they are bio engineered and the case is actually solid)

The background is that hundreds of thousands of people are abductees, and it's somehow connected to genetics.

As to invoking Christ -
if alien abduction is real (I believe), then these are not necessarily fallen cosmic entities (demons is a very specific term for 2nd Temple era writers)

Therefore, I would amend my previous statements and take Alberino's position.

To make better sense of what is happening here ….

(IMO, all this is true: aliens, fallen and faithful angels, "sons of God," various other creations, some faithful and some fallen, government lies and cooperation with entities, secret human technology)

I again suggest video search of "Howard Storm aliens" - a very honest NDE experiencer relays what Jesus told him, and it's useful here

Just finished listening to this episode, and it's basically this entire thread in a nutshell. Ross gets so frustrated with Diana's cagey non-answers and can't ultimately get her pinned down to say what she believes the government is up to. Highly recommended for skeptics and non-skeptics alike.

I recommend starting with conversations of Alberino with Catholic podcaster Michael Knowles :

https://*******.com/2nszrybz
EDIT : filter caught tiny url, or Google search these

Second, search his appearances on podcast, Blurry Creatures

I disagree with him about Younger Dryas being Noah's Flood, which is where an Apostolic (Catholic / Orthodox) understanding is helpful - in short, the flood (regional) was Sacramental / baptismal , explored some by me here, https://texags.com/forums/15/topics/3166505 and https://texags.com/forums/15/topics/3382956

Bottom line is Homo sapiens are NOT centric to creation, we are important only insofar as God became Jesus. Creation is Logos-centric, and the Logos of John1 has made many appearances to His many creations, some of which accept and some of which turn to self, and thus reject.

This guy may be the worst interviewer I've ever listened to. Diana Pasulka is such an easy interview. She loves to talk and all you have to do is wind her up. This ******* asks her a question and before she can get one tenth of an answer out he intereupts with "so you are sayng" and takes over the conversation. Unwatchable.

I disagree. She's incredibly evasive in most of her responses, and ends up not committing to anything of substance. It wasn't an unfriendly interview by any means, but neither was it filled with softball questions. Diana seemed scared of being pinned down.

Both of her UFO books passed Oxford University Press muster, which is very strict. This is noteworthy here in the following way:

I think the core issue of the interview is also present in the books, and Douthat is having none of it, properly. Namely, the solipsism is off-putting. Jacques is taking her around San Fransciso in his sports car! Amazing. Tyler D. whisked her away with his super high-status badges. Feels great. And Stanford is so cool, as was the drive into New Mexico, where the Invisible College welcomed her, just as they did at these invite-only conferences!!!

One reason why I like the Area52 channel I posted just above is that the host is both informed and only content-heavy: the best way for speculation.
