A new character Michael Connelly created for his books. She has her own series of books that has started.

The Ballard character was introduced into the storyline towards the end of Bosch Legacy.

In sure it was a snarky reply that she was obviously Ballard, but what was her tie in in legacy, as I don't recall that character at all.

We started watching Bosch a while back, but never really got hooked onto it and didn't finish. But we did watch this series over a few nights and enjoyed it. We will probably go back to Bosch at some point.

My wife and I enjoyed Ballard enough that we have now gone back and are checking out Bosch, since we never had seen any episodes of it. It is good to see Annie Wersching (RIP). She died far too young.

Same here. Really liked Ballard - so we have watched Bosch and just finished Season 2. Big fan of it as well.

Nah, bro. Replied that she was in Bosch Legacy but deleted my comment because you already knew that from duckhook's post.

Ballard only appeared in the series finale of Bosch legacy. She crossed paths with Bosch due to her working a cold case that Bosch had previously investigated.

It deviated quite a bit from the novels but still a good show. Although I imagined Ballard as much younger, Maggie Q was well cast.

I thought it was pretty good - about like Bosch Legacy - but not as good as The Lincoln Lawyer series or original Bosch.

Is there any overlap in the Lincoln Lawyer show to the Bosch show?

Lincoln Lawyer is on Netflix while Bosch is on Amazon so I doubt there would be any overlap, at least character-wise.

Enjoyed it. Cast was pretty good overall and the cases they were investigating were interesting if not a little cliche. Liked all the cameos from the Bosch cast.

Hope they clear up the plot device they dropped in the finale quickly in the second season.
