Damn! RIP Ozzy. When I was learning guitar I loved learning and playing along with his music. He made it a lot longer than I think any of us thought he would!

"You Looking at Me, Looking at You", which was originally left off Blizzard of Ozz, but later added to a reissue.

As they say at work about some, he'll die at his desk. Pretty much what Ozzy did, stadium show and barely a week lately, gone.

RIP Ozzy.

This was from one of his early, hard-rocking guitar driven songs:

Crazy, but that's how it goes
Millions of people living as foes
Maybe it's not too late
To learn how to love and forget how to hate

I've always thought that was a pretty good message hidden in broad daylight. Wasn't he supposed to be evil and have secret meanings in his songs when played backwards? He fooled everyone for a while.

I hope there are plenty of bats in rock heaven. Ozzy will be hungry.

Saw him in his full blown hair sprayed coke head 80's era. Metallica with Cliff Burton opened. Ultimate Sin Tour. Awesome show!
No one snorted ants better!
Diary of a Madman and Blizzard of Oz are Great rock and roll albums.

And actually for better or worse, the father of reality TV. The Real World started it but The Osbornes blew it up. The Kardashians owe him and his family.

Seems impossible

Given the amount of drugs and alcohol he consumed in his life, it seems impossible he made it this long.
You're right though... absolute rock legend.
I guess he's going to find out when he closes his eyes forever if it all remains the same.

Pretty sure they acted like preservatives to keep him going

RIP. My first concert ever in 1984. Motley Crue opened for Ozzy, amazing. He will be missed.

For me, it is Old LA Tonight off Ozzmosis. But, given that I am primarily an Ozzy fan due to Zakk Wylde's playing, that song does it for me as it hits all the piano and guitar parts perfectly.

Correct. It was the Cenotaph. And if you look at the picture of him bonding out, he is wearing one of Sharon's dresses. They were both in their hotel room. Ozzy was hammered and naked. Sharon didn't want him leaving so she hid all of his clothes. He put on one of her dresses and ran out of the hotel. Pretty funny.

Well, maybe funny at some time.

Yeah, he was hammered and thought he was urinating against a wall (so goes the story).

His apology a decade later was sincere, I hope - but who knows. He wanted to do a concert in SA.

Contrition, a donation, an apology.

Your lifestyle to me seemed so tragic
With the thrill of it all
You fooled all the people with magic
Yeah, you waited on Satan's call

RIP Ozzman. I knew of Sabbath and his early solo stuff because I had older siblings but I was 14 when No More Tears was released and it blew me away. So much more than just No More Tears and Mama I'm Coning Home it is a stacked album. Saw him in 1996 and it was a great show and he had a great performance.

Through all the happiness and sorrow
I guess I'd do it all again
Live for today and not tomorrow
It's still the road that never ends

Time After Time and Old LA Tonight are some good ballads.

Same here. Was going to post almost exactly what you said. The song is just great.

Close second is Mr. Crowley.

War Pigs is by far my favorite Black Sabbath song from the Ozzy years.

It's a mess for sure. One of the commenters says there is no video of Brad playing this live. He did it on the album but supposedly a fan cut clips together to put this with the music.

yeh the audio kind of seems real (like, it's really ozzy), but none of what I'm hearing is matching up with the video.. they aren't playing the song you're hearing.

Flying High Again
I Don't Know
Suicide Solution
Over The Mountain
Bark at the Moon
Ultimate Sin
No More Tears
Mama I'm Coming Home
Crazy Babies
Demon Alcohol
Perry Mason

Two that haven't been listed above...

Mr. Crowley may be one of his best. With Randy, of course.

Diary of a Madman is no slouch either.

You Can't Kill Rock & Roll deserves a strong vote too. As a kid who grew up with classically trained musicians for parents, I pretty much hated rock until just before high school. You Can't Kill Rock & Roll was one of the songs that pulled me into the fold. Randy's guitar intro was a big attraction for me, of course. And the lyrics spoke directly to my angst-filled rebellious teen heart and head like nothing else at the time. RIP Ozzy.
