Watched this last night at Alamo Drafthouse and absolutely loved it. For those that hate jump scares in horror movies, there are only one or two. I thought the body horror elements were well done. Dave Franco is amazing in this, and the film is a lot funnier than you'd expect given the trailer. It doesn't take itself too seriously. It's also been very well received by critics and audiences currently sitting at 91% on rotten tomatoes. I would strongly recommend this to horror fans and non-horror fans alike.

This movie was really really well shot. Dave and Alison clearly have incredible chemistry together and it helps elevate the movie substantially. I can see these two literally having some of these conversations I. Their real relationship. The body horror surprisingly wasn't as much as I expected but when it happens it happens. There is a jump scare that I knew was coming from the trailer and I still yelled out loud because of the atmosphere

The movie felt kinda short, but I enjoyed it.

I felt the very last shot of the movie looked a little wonky to me though.

Great performances by Franco and Brie.

I saw that they were offering free counseling for any couples who see the movie on opening weekend. Will I need counseling if I watch this with my wife?
