Yup this was the filler episode. Of course for season 1 there really wasn't a filler episode and episode 5 of season 1 was one of their best, Monkey Dory.

Still really enjoying this season and glad it's back. I will say it seemed a bit too forced to have Chris released and then for Ads and Vigilante to just leave him alone in the cabin when it was obvious he had gone off the rails.

Oh and Vigilante from Season 1 was definitely right...Eagly is hardcore!

Tonight is the first episode this season directed by Gunn and it's supposed to be a wild one. He also directed the finale in a couple of weeks.

Man, yeah, they sure are hyping these next three episodes, especially tonight's. Saying things like we need to watch it live so as to not be spoiled, that some big names/characters will appear at some point during these three episodes, and that this season directly leads to/sets up Man of Tomorrow, the Superman sequel. Pretty crazy.

The preview for the next episode has a prisoner in the main universe that seems to be getting sent to go after Peacemaker. I watched it with subtitles, hoping for a hint, but it only said "The Speaker"

Way too short!!! I have to admit with the buildup Gunn stated on his podcast I did expect more.

The reveal we all kind of guessed but man, Adrian just killed it tonight. Him riffing with himself was incredible.

Absolutely loved this episode. So many great payoffs and was genuinely funny/suspenseful/emotional throughout. Can't wait for the next two episodes.

Sure, they had that one date where he killed, what we now learn were heroes, but that's not a good look.

Also, one other note. Did anyone think Rick Flagg's pinkie ring look an awful lot like an Aggie ring? It looked way too big for his pinkie and not sure why he wore it like that. Speaking of Frank Grillo...dude is 60! Holy *****!
