My dad watched this daily for decades. Probably has a DVD box set somewhere.

Such a good show. Watched that one with my dad when I was a kid, along with The Rifleman and any and all John Wayne / Clint Eastwood westerns that would air on TV.

Two Andy Griffith show futures there- Floyd and the second mayor. I loved the tv broadcast, although, like Andy Griffith, when Gunsmoke went to color it wasn't the same for me.
