Overall, a very impressive weekend of cut. I've been to every 1st cut this organization has had, and this one was by far the most organized and smooth-flowing.

Kudos to the GReds, Greens, Browns, Chiefs, Yellows, and Butt Pots. Keep up the good work.

P.S. I worked with many of the groups out there this weekend and bar none, the Corps did the best work with the worst woods out there. On the last day, they carried a log that put most dorm logs from last year to shame. They made sure to cut everything down as close to the ground as possible and worked like a well oiled machine. Very impresive. Y'all motivate me.

No cut this saturday morning? Looks like no Jewnuts until the last week in October if I can make it that weekend. Is there any chance for cut going into November?

Uhm... that's my saw (assuming you are talking about the Husqvarna 288XP) and it has a 42" bar on it as far as I know... They might have changed it back to the 32", but I didn't have a chain for it last weekend. If it looks assininely big, it's mine and it's a 42" bar

Yeah, I gotta compensate for the mini mac of mine that bonfire also has .... I think that has an 8" or 10" on it ... it's the "training" saw ...

Yeah, it was the husky. We sent a fish to get a brown, he came walking back with it and had the biggest $@#(-eating grin on his face.

i love that saw... it strikes fear into the hearts of a lot of people... the 32" bar (and using it very efficiently) won me more respect from moses in my brown year than any of the other browns got from them put together.... it's even better now that it spits a 8-12" blue flame out the muffler at various and sundry times while you're running it... it's real hard to see during the day, but in the twilight that flame is the sweetest thing i've ever seen

I can always tell when they're running that saw...backfires louder than anything in the woods.

The blue case can backfire louder if it's overfueling again... but last time I was up there, it wasn't driveable due to a lack of steering.... the browns this year have zero sense of adventure when it comes to stuff like that...

Haha...well you'll be glad to know that it has steering again and is back on the tractor paths.

Even with 3 dorms in FHK, I can tell you personally, it was hard to get folks out...of course we only had 2 crew chiefs at the time.

Great dorm, but the balconies fostered some separateness my bro and I always found it hard to overcome versus Moses, Walton, Moore, etc.
