Well then hi Nick, I'm glad you decided to quit being such a girl and fessed up.

I don't care to know so much the inner workings, I just want opinions. Cool thing about message boards, you can talk to other people.

You making up a different user name so you don't have to answer to the drivel you post under one is disgraceful. It's pretty easy to act like a tough guy when nobody knows who you are. But now I, and hopefully quite a few others, not only know you're pretty dumb, but also a pansy and a coward.

Good day!

I hope you're walking tall with you're head high, because you've done it. You've made it. There's no telling what you're capable of now.
Just think about the actual productive things you could have accomplished in the time you spent on these threads (me too).

But you won. Thats right. I guess now you can skip cut like you originally planned to do. I guess I failed.

Everyone currently working on bonfire knows who I am. I told myself I would not get involved in these conversations but things have gone too far. I read this every now and then and it is upsetting to see fellow Aggies having discussions like this. I like that people have ideas they want to share and I like that other people recognize that leadership works very hard to accomplish what they can. I just wish that the Aggies in this thread could show each other more respect because right now the attitudes on this board does not reflect the community that Aggie Bonfire builds. Please think about this the next time you post.

I agree Sue.

Everybody has been respectful and honest for the most part except Nick. He's said some pretty crappy things and has tried to hide behind other names so he can act like a tough guy. What's sad is that he holds leadership in SB. I apologize for any disrespect I've shown to anybody, with the exception of Mr. Kaechler, he doesn't deserve my respect, but I believe I've been respectful to all the rest of you, as I have no reason not to.

And Nick, I thank you for your commendation of my exposing you for the liar you are. I've gotten a good bit done in my time tonight, I appreciate your concern. There certainly is no telling what a little thought and consideration can accomplish is there? I'm glad you recognize this.

for the record SO by calling nick an inept yellow you just give credance to anyone who thinks you are just talkign to hear yourself talk.
SquareOne07
How long do you want to ignore this user?
ooook!

I assume then you have no problem with him lying and acting like a coward hiding behind a different name so what he really feels and his inability to articulate a thought can't be traced back to him?

Congrats SO on changing a topic designed purely to identify one's self into another epic trolling flame war.
SquareOne07
How long do you want to ignore this user?
Changing the topic? This was done so there wouldn't be any more hiding behind your tag so you could say whatever to whoever and then run back to your hole. Nick apparantly thought it was alright just to keep doing his pathetic internet tough guy garbage and was perectly content in hiding behind another tag until somebody exposed it as being a lie. What gives?

If Precious created this in an attempt to make an honest and open forum then Nick was the one who surely shot that to hell, not me.

I believe this is the first instance of someone faking info for a 2nd ag tag so they could hide under a 2nd screen name.

Bad bull.
SquareOne07
How long do you want to ignore this user?
Why would I want to "pad my post count"?

So people think I'm cool?

That's ridiculous, please think before you type things like that.

Clearly I'm only making posts here (and elsewhere) so I can have a high number of posts on TexAgs. Right.
SquareOne07
How long do you want to ignore this user?
BUT so I can get to the coveted 217th post...

My thumbs down is in agreeance with NOAC

oh...and rook, don't waste any of your 5 posts a day on me, not worth your time.

Yes, thats what I was thinking the whole time.

Actually, I spend most of my time on more important things, than web stalking someone to figure out their identity. You just have more time than me.
SquareOne07

I certainly wish that were the case. It seems you have enough time to log into one name and then into another. Why?

I'm pretty sure that involved a rather clearcut lie, in violation of the Aggie Code of Honor.
Predmid

Unless the account belonged to someone else, in which case it wouldn't be a direct violation...just identity theft.
SquareOne07

Identity theft...hmm...stealing?

not if it was used with that person's consent.
SquareOne07

but then you start to question the motives...

"Hey man can I use your name, I gotta talk some sh*t and I don't want anybody to know it's me"
Keegan99

Regardless, I don't see how anyone could perceive it as anything but dishonest.

It doesn't reflect well at all on ASB.

well, since all it really takes for somebody to get an agtag is a name, address, neo email address, class year an a little more...

since you can have 3 neo email address, which is the easiest way to confirm that somebody is actually an Aggie, you could have 3 agtags without ever lying about any info about you.

If one was paranoid enough to worry about them checking physical addresses too, then you could only get 1 agtag for each time you move. For example, if you were to get an agtag at address A, then move to address B, and use it to get another agtag, then you still never submited any false info.

The other way to get an agtag is to be a former student. This could actually give you a 4th agtag depending on how much they keep track of names, class years, and majors.

You can also change 2 of your 3 neo email address as many times as you want, which, probably allows for somebody to get an agtag on as many screennames as they are willing to try to keep up with.

This is just further proof that a public forum is not the best way to find any useful information.

We were told to try emailing the sole email address on the site.

No response.

We were told to ask the leadership at cut.

"It's being taken care of."

There ISN'T a good way to get information. What amazes me is that people seem to think there's nothing wrong with that situation.

NoAC, i mean that generally speaking...not just about Student Bonfire. There is a lot of different information that comes from a lot of different people on a forum like this. Unless you actually know the person doing the posting, the only valid assumption that can be made is that the poster acutally knows just as much as you do and is speculating the rest.

It is also generally accepted that you get the most information from listening than talking, but many people tend to have lost hold of this concept.

There is no good way to get information because everybody in charge thinks they're running some top secret operation here. Trying to go back and forth between the website and individuals is useless. Unfortunately the best way to learn about it is just to listen to the noise people make about it...cue TexAgs.

This thread was created in part so we could know who was saying what. Why Nick felt the need to post under two names, we're still not sure. But we knew well who was saying what, so no caution needed to be exercised really.

And about listening v. talking, nobody "in the know" is talking. In case you missed it..."it's being taken care of...shhh." Why can't you just acknowledge that getting the runaround is damn frustrating?

The upper leadership of Bonfire doesn't tell people anything because they really don't need to know. It would be and truly is a better experience out there if you sit back and think all the major details are taken care of. All the randoms shouldn't have to worry about those things. Thats why we have upper leadership. They tell us what we need to know, such when and where to show up and work, and as far as I can tell, that seems to be good enough. We are cutting down trees and we will be stacking in a few weeks.
