Your faith continues to be inspiring Derm. I am deeply saddened by your loss, and her parents but tremendously appreciate your incredible grace and faith. I pray for strength for them and as well their parents/yourself.

That picture breaks my heart. It also comforts me in the knowledge that her family introduced her the Good News and to Christ love and promise during her short time with us on this Earth. Derm, you and your kin and good people.

The loss of so many children makes so little sense to me sometimes but then I am reminded of the words God reminded Job,

"Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth?
Tell Me, if you have understanding," -Job 38:4

I couldn't ever gain or comprehend an understanding of God's will. I can however choose to accept it and trust in His ways.

Derm,
I have been so torn up these last few days. This afternoon I felt drawn into Eucharistic Adoration. I spent about an hour on my knees and on my face in the presence of our Lord today.

I prayed a Rosary for Mary Grace, her parents, brother, and for you. I did not know she was Catholic and I just saw the beautiful picture of her from her First Holy Communion which brought me to more tears. I know Mary Grace, and all of the girls called home in this tragedy, are in the loving arms of our Savior.

I have so much respect and admiration for you and your faith and your contributions to this board. My heart breaks for all of you and my family will continue to keep Mary Grace and your family in our prayers.
