I don't know Mattis well. I briefed him a couple of times when I was a Major and he was CG I MEF and again when he was Commander JFCOM and NATO but he would not know me. The last time I saw him was in 2010 when I invited him to give a keynote address at a conference.

James Mattis is a very entertaining speaker because he frequently goes off-script. At that conference in 2010, he paused briefly to ask if there was press in the room before telling an anecdote to illustrate a point. Everyone nodded signaled that there was and then he said, "Well, I'm going to say it anyway." He then explained that a week before the Russians invaded Georgia in 2008, they sent the "Chechen brigade" into Georgia to quite literally rape, pillage, and plunder. After the Chechen thugs had terrorized the Georgian populace, the Russian Army invaded to "liberate" Georgia and the Chechens departed as the Russians arrived. The reporters in the audience were leaving the room as soon as he finished speaking try and be the first to report that new information that had not been publicly revealed.

He knows a thing or two about all this. So maybe 1/2 a grain of salt that he knows what is actually going on.

Viva Frei and Barnes were talking about the Mar a Lago raid being a futile to recover Crossfire Hurricane conspiracy evidence.

Barnes' rant has also convinced me that John Ratcliffe is incompetent at best and a black hat at worst. He could have released what Tulsi has released when he was DNI but he didn't. He could have moved to declassified the documents that Trump directed him to release before Trump left office but h didn't. The Mar a Lago raid would never have happened if Ratliffe was really trying to obey his boss' orders and show the public the truth. I don't know his motivations but Ratliffe is not a good guy.

Problem with the narrative of Ratcliffe could have released what Tulsi had is BS. If you listen to what Kash Patel said on the Rogan podcast you know they found the files Tulsi released stored in an archive in a separate FBI building. And you have to remember who was heading the CIA back then. Gina Haspel was implicated in the whole thing from day one. Her and Pompeo are both deep state criminals. Viva Frei and company are talking out their asses. The files were found by some of Elon's DOGE nerds in the WFO and brought them to the ODNI's attention. And if you remember the WFO was the office, they got Strzok and Paige and all the cronies out of that we're all working Crossfire Hurricane to start with. When Comey and McCabe put the team together to kick this thing off, every one of them were recruited out of the Washington field office. Every bit of what I'm telling you about the WFO and it's direct links to Crossfire Hurricane is documented in this thread extensively

If that's not enough for you here's the official documentation of the corruption in the WFO

https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/CHRG-116shrg43069/html/CHRG-116shrg43069.htm

According to GROK

Based on recent statements and interviews by Kash Patel and others, it appears that files related to the Russia investigation (Russiagate) were reportedly discovered by DOGE in a previously unknown location described as an "evidence room," "vault," or "lockbox" within the FBI storage archive in the Washington Field Office.

This discovery by DOGE was highlighted by Patel, who currently serves as FBI Director, in interviews, including one with Joe Rogan. He claimed the files were intentionally withheld and hidden by former FBI leadership in places "where people weren't supposed to look". Patel and Deputy Director Dan Bongino indicated that these documents contain new information on the Crossfire Hurricane investigation and potentially expose misuse of the FISA process by officials like James Comey, Andrew McCabe, and Peter Strzok. They promised that these files, along with others related to the January 6th Capitol breach, would be released to the public in the near future, bringing a "wave of transparency" and accountability.

It is important to note that Kash Patel has been a vocal critic of the Russia investigation, often alleging it was a politically motivated hoax and pushing claims that have been challenged or contradicted by other reports, such as those from the Inspector General and Special Counsel Robert Mueller. For example, he has been accused of falsely conflating the investigation with the discredited Steele dossier and misrepresenting the scope and origins of the probe.

I do think Nunez is smarter than most of the folks 'on the other side' in all of this. That said, he's not in charge of any prosecutorial decisions.

Those decisions are still, frankly, going to be made anonymously at DoJ and I don't trust Bondi to 'do the right things.' I do think a 'special prosecutor' is the wrong answer, as those are invariably cover up artists.

All just my two cents, of course. I have no predictions really, at this point. We really are in some sort of Monty python level of insanity to some degree.

Even if Obama has some sort of executive privilege, I think they still should bring charges and arrest him. Make him spend money to defend himself, like they did to Trump. Make them fight it up to SCOTUS to see if it fits under their previous ruling.

That Eisen made these claims on TV means there are records/writings that can also be uncovered to support his claims (which support the Russiagate conspiracy as tied to MaL raid and impeachments/Obama-Biden corruption/Ukraine etc).

This thread has all of this well documented. Where are the indictments, Bondi?

Yea, you don't get to actively keep covering it up until the SoL runs out.

And for anyone not eligible for a real trial, you hold a mock trial and convict them.

Clearly you are correct. Interesting to see Ship spell this out, to this point;

Quote:

Barack Obama has a combo of absolute and presumptive immunity for his official acts while President.

That is immunity from prosecution - that does not mean he would not be a co-conspirator. It only means he could not be prosecuted as a co-conspirator for matters taking place prior to Noon on Jan. 20, 2017.

If a conspiracy continued AFTER that time/date, and private citizen Obama did not withdraw from that conspiracy, he's legally responsible for the crimes of others within the scope of the conspiracy if those crimes were foreseeable.

Coming up in a Substack MAYBE tonight, but probably tomorrow. Some Fischer v. US and Trump v. US will be mixed in.

I still contend Obama can have his immunity stripped, but only via the impeachment process.

What Ship spells out may allow justice to occur without impeachment as you still won't get to 60 votes to convict.

McConnell, Murkowski and Collins probably Cornyn too would be no for the sake of democracy & decorum.

Rand will be a know unless impeach includes spending cuts.

And libs stick together no matter the sins.

He also verified that the statute of limitations will not apply to John Brennan, James Clapper, Hillary Clinton and others because in a conspiracy case, it's 5 years from the last act of the conspiracy. He added, "the people behind this are STILL furthering the conspiracy."

This^ And one overt act resets the clock for all conspirators. The 5 yr 'hook' is likely their testimony to Durham and Congress in late 2020. Maybe also their recent public statements. Conspiracy to Defraud the United States, Conspiracy to Obstruct Justice, etc. If they can just find a way to avoid the DC courts.

The original report was released with pages of appendices completely redacted, and I'm pretty sure it was Wray that flagged them for classification redactions.

Half-joking but no one held those pages up to a bright light?

Wray seems to me to be the ignored figure here. Screaming about Comey, McCabe and Rosenstein but it was Wray that was the cover-up guy.

I don't know about you folks but I would laugh my butt off were Wray to take the 5th amendment in an open hearing. FBI Director? Takes the 5th?

I could be completely wrong, but I've always assumed our Biden AG either refused to allow specific docs to be released to Durham, or Durham willingly refused access.

My bet is on our AG being what he is and was, a crook and criminal.

If ongoing past Jan 2017, Obama won't have immunity for the foreseeable acts of the conspiracy, unless he withdrew from it.

There's a lot of liabilities to be exposed, and it's all entirely fair game, imho.

All this time I've thought Garland was the guy, but as stated above, it could certainly be Wray.

I just don't know how the power structure works if it's Wray. I can see Wray wanting to do it, but Garland had the power. I guess it's certainly possible Wray told Garland to stop the release of docs, but candidly, I'm not sure Garland needed a push from Wray.

I know this won't happen, but I'd LOVE to see Rosenstein get caught up in this. Nearly everyone else in the Russiagate fiasco is still pushing the conspiracy, but Rosenstein shut up about that a long time ago. Well, I'm not familiar with any of Rosenstein's testimony to congress, but that's damned sure over five years ago.

BTW, according to the docs released by Gabbard, the CIA guys specifically told Brennan NOT to include their names on the new ICA. I'm sure that happened, but is their a law for putting analysts names on docs that specifically said "NO", don't put mine on there?
