The problem here for the Trump folks, including Tulsi, is that the details are too complicated and too easily nuanced for the American people to keep straight. The left will relentlessly throw things out into the public discourse designed to confuse. So don't expect this to gain any traction with the masses.

Trump will have to win this battle in the courts. And if that fails, this will have been a disaster.

Why would he have travelled all the way to Australia on a C-17? That doesn't make any sense to me, really. They are slow, not real comfortable for a long trip, and it was reported on at the time anyway (March, 2016), so not covert in any way. I'd wager dollars to pesos he crossed the Pacific in some form of a commercial type of aircraft.

I guess, the real question is whether he actually met with Josef Mifsud, after going to New Zealand on that trip, which I would think Papadopaulos would highlight:

He used to point this out; the guy went 'missing' in 2019.

IIRC, Mifsud was a spook, but a former one who was then specializing in training for agents for various intel agencies for several different countries. So he was connected to many intel officials/agents across a broad spectrum. Meaning he could easily tap his varied sources to corroborate or debunk any particular intel assessment. In theory he could have done that.

Was he actually asking questions and that's why he was "disappeared"? Seems to me he was recruited to participate in a small way with Papadop about Hillary's emails but then something changed and he went missing.

Who he was with is the right question (which we'll never be told), but keep in mind Papadopaulos was/is a small/low level campaign guy the whole time, the intent was, all along to use folks like him to gain fisa warrants to snoop on the entire campaign (using contractors/'about' 702 queries, 700K+ non-compliant searches, Rudy Contreras, Samantha Power, all that crap).

That worked for them, in other words. They were spying for dirt, to alternatively sink, or control the Trump administration. Of course, for comic relief, note Perkins Coie shamelessly plugging that warrants are needed now for 702 searches of US citizens, from the Eastern District of NY, in December 2024 just before Trump was sworn back in.

Nominally, he was with some type of university or training program connected to one. Based in Rome.

After all these years and he still hasn't shown back up, he's either unalived or living under a new identity in a different country. He would know to do that. Create new IDs, back story, paper trail to support it. Probably already had one prepared and ready to go.
