The raid on Mar-a-Lago was about recovering anything that they could try to build a case on because they had nothing they got warrants looking for the crime, instead of having a crime looking for evidence.

And the epstein files are sitting on bondis desk.

I'm not so sure this time. Trump wants a reckoning and he's got nothing to lose this time around. He's also got competent, loyal foot soldiers working for him and he's consolidated his power. His popularity is at an all time high. I don't see him letting this one go. He wants to cut the cancer out and destroy it while he has the opportunity.

Nuclear codes was always incredibly dumb. Like they aren't changed on a regular cadence and unusable after the changes. Not even that but would near instantly get you incarcerated forever. Only stupid people with absolutely no exposure to anything would have believed that stupidity.

Point that out to anyone throwing that out and the response is almost always deflection. Because they then know just how ignorant they look for having believed such an incredibly insipid lie.

I think that the idea of it being "nuclear codes" was mainly among Trump supporters trying to minimize Trump's actions.

If it was other nuclear weapons secrets such as design or deployment info, that would be much more serious matter. Anyone who would take those homes should have the FBI knocking on their door to retrieve them.

This likely means that the raid on Mar a Lago was another act among one or more conspirators which means the SoL would start running again as of that act.

Bad news for the co-conspirators.
