G Guerrieri and the Fightin’ Texas Aggie soccer team return to Ellis Field on Thursday to open the 2025 season with a rivalry matchup against Baylor. We’re looking ahead to the upcoming campaign with our 2025 Texas A&M Soccer Preview Series.
With the preseason complete, Texas A&M's 2025 roster features a handful of experienced players.
A dozen players off the 2024 roster make their return to what is a re-built squad this fall.
These returners play in different positions. Some are forwards, playing in the top of the field. Some are in the midfield, stretching from the lower half of the top of the field to the upper half of the bottom of the field. Some are in the defense, playing in the back of the field. Some as a goalkeeper, also playing in the back of the field.
Each returning player brings something to the table, and together, they add drive, desire and determination to their younger teammates and transfer additions.
As the Maroon & White begin the regular season this week, head coach G Guerrieri could look to use these seasoned Aggies, but with their experience and motivations, the future should look bright for A&M soccer.
