Which actually makes more sense than both or either being some kind of ally with the shooter.

Most like they were already in the area "protesting" and saw it as an opportunity to make a scene.

Nate Foy on Fox said the shooter ended it on the 43rd floor.

He mentioned the name of the firm but I didn't quite catch it.

Edit to add: Paul Morrow on Fox said the guy appears to be a security guard from Vegas casino, hopped in a bmw and drove cross country.

Found a revolver in car and evidently he shot himself on the chest with the M4.

A bit unusual.
