The lack of info on this case in terms of motive and what actually happened is kind of annoying. Perhaps because young children were involved?

I'm pretty sure this psycho will see some justice inside the prison and the Arkansas jury will likely not have much mercy either.

And he worked in the schools…

EDIT: I read your post a little too fast the first time when I responded. To answer your question, if it's justifiable self defense you should be okay but the aftermath will vary depending on the laws in the state you're in.

Twitter saying he taught in Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas and lasted no more than a year at each place.

Some scuttlebutt saying that at one school, the boys reported him acting inappropriately with the little girls. He was allowed to resign and just moved on to teach somewhere else.

Kinda makes you wonder if there are some unsolved murders around his old stomping grounds…..

You defend yourself and/or family and not worry about the repercussions. I'm sure there is some sort of basic charge, like negligent discharge of a firearm, but who is going to write that ticket?

Our local U.S. post office has a large sign on the door saying it's a Federal offense to possess a firearm on the premises. I assume that could mean the parking lot/ vehicle also. But I'm not going to ask them.

He was supposed to start a teaching job in Springdale Schools this fall. My wife's best friend is an attorney for the district so I'm sure she'll be on the phone with her this afternoon. The lady cutting his hair was posting on Facebook as everything went down. She even posted pictures of the FBI sweeping up his hair for evidence and videos of his car being towed. It was all black but definitely not a Mazda. Looked like a Dodge Charger. Will relay any info I get, as we live about 2 minutes from ASP Troop L, where he's being held.
