Never been to Tonight Shot but I think Letterman filmed at like 4pm. His show films about half hour after The Five ends at 6pm. But they don't tape everyday.

Yes Gutfeld is still on. He's been the highest rated late night show for a while now.

They will probably tape that day's Gutfeld episode earlier than usual and he will skip that day's The Five.

Some wise chump is going to feed all aggiehawg's old stories into the ChatGPT machine and spit out a decently entertaining history book. Hang gets the proceeds though.

I remember my cousins in Jefferson had one outside their double-wide. It was true high class living.

I have like Fallon back to SNL days and thought he was a decent choice to replace Leno Act II. (NBC majorly screwed up firing him for Conan, then brought him back, then changed their minds again). He is actually mega talented at singing and improv. That being said, his complete awe and verbal fallatio of Obama was just annoying and then started with Trump attacks which every night show does non stop. There is not enough material for 10 years of Trump jokes.

I'm not sure how any of them are still on. But remember, they're all failed actors. Some of them who went through Saturday Night Live and then ended up on these late night "shows" which are just propaganda for the DNC.

Now acting on Saturday Night Live at one point at least was not really being a failed actor, and Fallon had legitimate movies,but you can find Colbert on an old law and order, you can find Bill Maher on an old murder she wrote. Literally failed actors.

When I was seven in about 1973 we went to Los Angeles. And one of the things we went to was the Tonight Show set. We didn't watch the show because my brother and I were kind of young, this was when Carson was on I definitely remembered the color curtain and they said they did shoot that show at 4 PM.

I also saw a taping of friends in 1998 and it started at 5 PM. It ran for 5 1/2 hours. Between the scene set ups, the retakes the goof and such. It really did take that long to film. Good thing it was a funny episode. We actually missed the first two scenes because when we got there, they said they were full, but if we came back in about an hour, some people will leave. So we went and got something to eat came back and sure enough got in there for the rest of the show. When you watch it on TV it's literally just a few little short scenes at the beginning so we didn't even really miss much.

Ever since then, though when I watched friends, and I don't really much anymore, I see it as the set the way it was not as the show.

Bill Maher got his start doing standup and then dabbled in guest appearances as an actor. He's nothing like the others and his show has been pretty successful in some form or fashion from the original format in 1993.

Fallon's fake, over the top laughter about everything makes him hard to watch.

In the rare event he has a guest I care to see, or the TV happens to be on NBC and rolls into his show, I too think he's really a talented guy and genuinely seems to be a nice person. His over the top giggling and silliness is definitely too much, but I just can't hate him. This is exactly a 180 from the other two Dem hacks.

The window is open for him now and he could likely survive if he just balances out his guests, pick on the massively humongous potential material the Dems offer daily, and back off a bit on Trump. IMO he could easily pick up a bunch of viewers. As the NGO funds dry up, these media corps need to wise-up and go back to actually making money off the quality of their shows.

The Gutfield guest appearance might show the big wheels the potential, and especially if it's not a hack job from Fallon, which I would be surprised to see. I predict it will set a record on ratings with normal people(you know conservatives) viewing it.

Gutfeld responding to Swallwell's bench press challenge on his show last night was absolutely hysterical.

He apologized profusely for having a presidential candidate on his show and not treeating him like complete sh**. That told me all I need to know about him. And even the guys on the entertainment board think he has railed on Trump excessively, while turning a complete blind eye to the comedic gold on the left just waiting to be taken adtantage of.

I do agree that he doesn't use raw hatred lie the other late night freaks.
