Actually, proving the negative is the one thing you can do.

We have a presumption of innocence and then we have beyond reasonable doubt. Proving absolute innocence is the tricky part and almost never happens.

Not different than scientific method. You can always add up supportive evidence and make a damn good case. But it only takes one tiny exculpatory item to prove it wrong.

How many "proven scientific facts" have turned out wrong? Particularly when ALL the evidence is hearsay and circumstantial?

Cause that's all they got with Trump. He didn't release the files so he is a deep state mossad agent pedo agent for the British royal family.
