Me either. My ancestors were some of the first illegals in Texas. Fought the Mexicans at San Jacinto.

Mine where NOT illegals in Texas, on my mom's side they came from Kentucky in the 1830s and where GIVEN LAND by Mexico near Matagorda.

From America and Legal in the 1830s...best of both worlds.

settlers braved the wild continent and built a nation.
immigrants never build nations, they come along after to take advantage of opportunity that was built by others.
immigrants may contribute to society, but they didn't build it.
