I wasn't even thinking about the midterms, actually. Appears that Bolton will face additional charges as well. That further delays things. Frankly, I would be surprised that October date isn't pushed back.

At some point, I think people have little interest in the Bolton saga though he deserves punishment if the allegations are confirmed.

But Trump really hates Bolton so he may keep the screws turning.

Agree. Bolton is way too prideful to ask or accept a pardon.

I have not seen much of him lately, but is Bolton sort of hiding out? One way to really get at Bolton is to make him irrelevant.

Taint him with this case, then drop out bits about the case to keep him off the book and pundit circuit, but not too much that he becomes a martyr.

He's widely hated by the left and the right. Dick Cheneying him to obscurity is the best way to hurt these guys.
