The IAEA has stated there is no legitimate civilian application for Iran's nuclear program. They are the only non-nuclear nation that enriches uranium at that high of a level. There aint no way you can trust those fools.
The "negotiations" are just air cover to give Saudi and the White House plausible means to say they tried to handle it civilly but Iranian leadership was not acting in good faith. It's little more than face saving or window dressing to their citizenry.
The sheer amount of assets we have in the arena now is testament to what the actual path forward will be.
The only question is one of timing and alignment between the MANY(!) operational factors at play and factions involved in the region. I would not be at all surprised if we or Israel are coordinating with in-country agents akin to Vichy France, and are starting to wait for the best window of opportunity while continuing to game out plans for Day T+1 and beyond.
