I could get on board with banning gas powered blowers. They are a public nuisance at this point. I watch lawn crews in our neighborhood blow literally nothing every time they are around. We only have palm trees where we live. There are no leaves; there is nothing on the ground to blow. They do it simply because it's habit and expected.

Also, I wanted to see what was going on with these tax increases in Virginia and Grok tells me that none of these taxes have been passed nor have they been submitted as part of her agenda. All done by Dem legislators. Would she sign them? Probably because she's a Democrat, but apparently almost all of them have been ignored or deferred. Doesn't' change the fact that Democrats are traitors.

They are apparently still operating off of Youngkin's last budget with an amendment process via Spanberger that does not include these tax hikes. I'm guessing she's holding that together just to get through her first few months and then they will start the tax apocalypse in the next budget.

Sounds like the Dem legislators got cocky and aggressive with her win and tried to throw all of these new taxes into the amendment process and junk it up.

The final bill fixed the age thing. It is still a crap bill, but she is not telling the truth. She is referencing the bill as it was introduced.

I think she's been playing a game refusing to declare which ones she will back/not back. It's all pretty fascinating to me and I think she is being too cute about it, but I'd expect nothing less from a CIA operative as such.

Tuberville labeled her a communist today, and there's a lot of questions about the redistricting 'deal' which has to get voter approval.

Shame what happened to Virginia. Used to be a great place. Then NOVA explosion of smooth brain liberals ruined it. Probably no saving the state, will soon go the way of Minnesota and California. Maybe Youngkin will run again for Gov., but all he could do is slow down the decay, not reverse it.

in my view, this is pretty much the entire role of the opposition to the marxist regime in our two-party system. it's unfair to expect much more than just slowing it down.

socialism is pretty much inevitable on the maturity timeline of any great empire or civilization until it destroys itself due to the already well-known pitfalls of socialism and communism. But the velocity can speed up and slow down. It can speed up quickly from power grabs, coups, stolen elections, or unfortunate election results, but can only slow down based on election results - when the republican opposition is strong enough to defend and not cede control where they already have support and to occasionally win in places they don't as well as in national elections. And it will only then slow down if the socialist opposition actually does something when they get power to do so.

it's why things like election integrity and immigration policy (and border security when the socialists really go off the deep end) are so important. the marxist tactics - from forcing division chaos and anarchy, to taking control of the education system and academia indoctrination institutions, to controlling the media messaging, to opposing secure elections and secure borders - they're all intentional for one thing: power. They think they're the good guys, but when the best "get rich quick" plan in your country is to work in government or scheme grants from government instead of work in industry, when most of the GDP growth is from growth of government, when industry and investment in your country is stagnant or negative due to too much government and regulation, when government is incentivized to stay in power by keeping people poor so people need them, when you're getting close to only half your citizenry motivated enough to work hard and provide for their family - which are the ones who pay taxes to fund the government, you're in grave danger, and the opposition needs to win sometimes to slow things down a bit or else it just speeds up and destroys quickly: Hugo Chavez style.

Shrink government, remove regulatory hurdles to business, lower taxes, encourage growth and investment - all of those anti-socialists views -- they call it "fascism" now, but that's another marxist tactic - they are needed to simply slow the socialist roll. Not reverse it. Can't be reversed unfortunately.

Marxist tactic 101. Revise history, dismantle institutions that create community, patriotism, and pride. It wasn't long ago Presidents and congress were honoring heroes of the confederacy in an official capacity. Standing up for what you believe in will not fly in a marxist society.

All blowers then. I don't discriminate. I do own a battery blower that works just fine and is less noisy than a gas blower. I also use it very tactically and not indiscriminately to blow literally nothing like all of the lawn crews that serve our neighbors.

But I won't be a hypocrite about it. Ban them all!

Google AI response to, "what is Holi?":

Quote:

Holi, the vibrant Hindu "Festival of Colours" and "Festival of Love," celebrates the arrival of spring, new life, and the triumph of good over evil (symbolized by the legend of Prahlad and Holika). Held in March, it involves lighting bonfires (Holika Dahan) and throwing colored powders (gulal) and water.

No one should be shocked that working in the CIA under Obama and John Brennan and the like makes you really appreciate all things that could impede a marxist uprising or revolution. like Christianity and nuclear families/ dads, etc.

There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves." - Sir Winston Churchill

Not too far off from the truth. Lawn crews would blow through a battery pack during a single job. So either they run a generator off the truck to charge another set so they play battery leap-frog, borrow power from the homeowner to charge batteries, or after every job they drive back to home base in order to get a fresh set of batteries.
