Asian pop goes from 2% to 26%. Huge increase, it may be 35% now in 2026.
All other races seem the same.

This. It's a fairly wealthy/low crime suburb that has tended to the regional mean over the past 20+ years of booming growth.

The more concerning trend is that Frisco will fail to draw young families (with children) to the district/city over the coming decades (and let's face it, no one under 50 is from here, so there's no anchoring family structures). That has nothing to do with race, fwiw, but the city/school district (latter is a huge financial institution) will face innumerable problems if it happens.

Part of the 'problem' is that the city/school governments know this and it makes addressing the explosive growth of the South Asian/Indian population even more challenging, imho.

You have to realize school district reputation plays a big part of the influx of Asians into Frisco.

The problem, imho, is that older neighborhoods just don't sustain the K-5 population in particular in so far as 'new' ones do. Frankly, I don't think this is reversible. It's vastly more challenging than racial shifts, again my two cents.

Oriental is considered offensive these days for some reason so they don't get their own category.

I post it all the time, but those numbers are the exact trends that CA experienced from the 90's to now where large portions of OC & SD became majority Asian:Indian and those areas went from solid red to blue/purple while LA & SF went from blue to ****ing lost. CA's degradation went hand in hand with the demographic change across the state. They vote ~70ish % left.

I am pretty familiar with the Indian thing... I have worked in IT - business software/ERP world (i.e. SAP, PeopleSoft, Workday) for the past 30 years and have seen firsthand influx of Indian workers in ERP. Just crazy fast growth. I never see any whitey names on resumes any more. Of our team of about 15, there are 11 Indians and one Pakistani all making decent 6-figure incomes (the server engineering teams are still all-white).

The vast majority of the Indians I know all live in areas zoned to Clements HS because they heard it was the "best" in Houston, and they told the new arrivals, and on and on it goes. Starting now to see an increase in my subdivision zoned to Grand Oaks HS (Spring/99 & Hardy), maybe Sugar Land is full?!?
