Trump just backed today Nancy Mace's opponent for South Carolina Governor.

Mace now has a 4% chance on Kalshi of winning the race.

Guess why?!

"Nancy Mace & Thomas Massie: They appear to have a meaningful political alliance.

A campaign consultant to Mace resigned from her gubernatorial campaign, accusing her of positioning herself too close to Massie and Sen. Rand Paul, saying she had "fully embraced the Rand Paul + Thomas Massie wing."

So there's at least a real political and financial connection there, though it's not clear how personally close they are."

I had two clients out last month from South Carolina. Both Citadel grads. They went to school with Nancy.

They said she was uh "interesting". And her dad cleaned up a lot of her BS.

That said, I still like Nancy. She is a hoot.

RD would be the best president. I'm not sure he has the charisma to win though. Maybe it was just him up against the Trump juggernaut that he looked bad. Hopefully if not up against Trump he'll look better. If I could appoint a president it would be DeSantis.
