My company is looking to fill a Cybersecurity Analyst role.

Role is in Houston Uptown. Full-time remote is not an option, although hybrid is a possibility once fully trained and established in your role. Normal work week hours with some flexibility, but need to be accessible 24/7 for critical incidents (which are uncommon). Need 2-5+ years of relevant experience. Role will involve significant end-user support (helpdesk escalations)...so good customer service and strong technical/troubleshooting skills is a must.

Degree and relevant cert(s) - Security+, SANS, CISSP/ISC2, Azure, Pen-testing, various Networking, A+, etc

Skills/experience we are looking for - in general order of importance...

Endpoint Protection (CrowdStrike)
SIEM/SOC/Incident Response experience
IAM tools (Azure/Entra), addressing sign-on risk, Conditional Access
Email Protection (Proofpoint)
Strong in Phishing recognition, remediation, user awareness training
General IT technical skills...need to be able to troubleshoot/administer TCP/IP, Active Directory, DNS, web browsers, M365, Windows, MacOS, iOS/Android, VPN
MFA Administration
GRC experience (PCI-DSS)
Vulnerability management/scanning (Tenable/Nessus) and remediation
SASE experience would be a plus.
Firewall experience a plus (Palo/Panorama)
Powershell, Python, etc a plus
Comfortable with AI
General Retail/Hospitality/Point-of-Sale operations experience can be helpful
