Yep, that's definitely where I'm at. If you want to get this team over the hump, you gotta bring in somebody new (never been an NFL head coach... not another NFL retread) and hope that what they bring to the table gets it done.
It very well could completely blow up in Jerry's face, but you gotta try.

deion had a few good seasons at JSU because he had a legit QB in his son and Hunter who was the best recruit in the nation. He had tons more talent than any team he faced. Again, at CU he had a legit QB and Hunter, and he played in a crap conference to get a handful of wins this year. Not saying he cant coach or hire great coaches, but offensively they weren't even in the top 50 of total offense this year. He's had success everywhere he's coached to date and more than doubled a P4 programs win total from his first to second season there. He's made very good coordinator hires at the college level. And he has a history of pushing Jerry around in negotiations and in the media that could serve him well as a coach here. He certainly wouldn't be my first choice but this idea that it would be an absurd hire that has no chance of working and that no other franchise would ever consider is "everything Jerry does is bad no matter what" agenda driven hyperbole. On his current trajectory he'll be coaching in the NFL or at a historical college power somewhere within 5 years if Dallas doesn't hire him.

Not much of an inspiring leader and there's some clips going around X about his scheme and passing concepts the last couple of weeks w the eagles and it's not confidence inspiring.
