You tased for him in a keeper league? Isn't he about to hang it up?

No I traded him for Debo Samuel. And I definitely think he's going to retire. Ihave no idea why the other guy did the trade.

Can someone do a side by side of that Kelce look on the bench with Ben Affleck smoking?

I gotta stay up late and work so if someone can post the Kelce picture, I'll waste a lot of time making variations

Not the best grab but it's all I can manage at the moment.

CJ wasn't perfect but made some incredible timely throws - absolute darts on a dead sprint for key first downs.

CJ doesn't seem to be getting any credit for some pretty big plays in the first half.

Last drive of the half was on Demeco.

Nothing was working 3Q. Hardly resting solely on his shoulders. Constant/instant pressure, no one open at all.

4th we finally figured out what was going to work.

Not claiming he's blameless, but hardly the sole or even biggest issue we had all night.

ETA: not for nothing, zero turnovers in the face of all that pressure. Simply not making a big mistake kept us in the game.

AI would make pretty quick work of this for someone.

I almost turned the game off due to CC. Glad I suffered thru to see the win. And man do I hate KC and all the CC slobbering.

Unless we lay an egg because of coming off an emotional win like this; we should handle Arizona, Vegas, and Indy. @LAC probably the swing game for the division and home playoff game.

Oh, I forgot it's no longer 16. Sorry. Yeah that's been like four years, hasn't it?

Then why not 12-5?

WARNING: OLD MAN RAMBLE INBOUND

Forty-five years and 3 days ago, I went to my first-ever Oilers game.
December 4, 1980.

Oilers-Steelers at the dome on a Thursday night for some reason.

Steelers were 2-time defending champions but were struggling by their standards at 8-5.

They had made the playoffs 8 straight years and won 4 Super Bowls in 6 years.

Hall of Famers across the board for Pittsburgh including QB Terry Bradshaw.

The Oilers' defense beat the piss out of the Steelers. Intercepted Bradshaw 3 times. Recovered two fumbles.

Beat the Steelers 6-0. Pittsburgh missed the playoffs for the first time since 1971 and wound up third in their own division. Bradshaw never won another playoff game.

Sports has a funny way of coming full circle, eh?

one thing Collingsworth got right tonight...

the AFC playoffs will be all about defense

outside of Josh Allen...the AFC's group of playoff QB's will be very average

If the Bills were ever to win the SB this would be the year. Too bad they don't have a defense

This defense is playing like absolute nightmare fuel right now for QB's. After what they did to Josh Allen a couple of weeks ago, also on prime time, Mahomes put up the worst QBR performance of his career, 19.7. The secondary played with speed and violence. His 42% completion percentage is also the worst of his career. The Chiefs will not win the AFC West this year.

Mahomes 14/33 160 yards 3 picks 2 sacks 0 TD.

Remaining schedule:

vs Cardinals
vs Raiders
@ Chargers
vs Colts

Just have to say it's great to finally beat Kansas City. And Kelce drops being key in the outcome was just icing on the cake!

How's everyone feeling this morning? They don't quite control their own destiny with regards to the division but I like their odds of getting in with a wild card spot. This defense is championship level good and the best I've ever seen in Houston.

If we had this year's defense and a couple years ago, when Stroud was elite: that offense, we'd have as good a chance of any as winning the Super Bowl.
I know a lot about a little, and a little about a lot.

Bet no one has going 3-0 against BUF, IND, KC on y'all's bingo game. Pretty impressive what this defense is doing to some really good QBs.

But man this offense continues to sputter. They struggle to find any rhythm and identity.

Did anyone notice at one point in the fourth quarter the sky cam caught CJ calling a 40 word play in the huddle and then they proceed to run a draw up the middle that gets stuffed for no gain.

There's just no urgency and flow. They show some nice flashes (Higgins is gonna be a stud) then absolutely shlt down the legs at other times.

Not sure what to think. Awesome to knock off KC (and in KC, no less). But Caley's utter inability to adjust to what the defense is doing is very concerning. Barring some major turnaround, I worry it's going to be hard to win at a high level with him. The one silver lining is the league seems to be undergoing a changing of the guard, and no one looks unbeatable.

I think you have to bring in a real OC with skins on the wall this offseason whether it be McDaniel or KOC (if he gets the boot out of Minnesota). Caley is so far out of his league it's crazy. Plus he has zero ability to develop a qb. Stroud needed someone to teach him how to be an nfl qb and he's lacked that since he got here. Hopefully it's not too late to learn.

Why would either McDaniel (OC of an 11-2 team this year) or KOC (won 14 games last year) leave and come to Houston?

Mike McDaniel? Dolphins coach. He's almost assuredly getting let go this offseason by Miami. And I've heard rumors that Minnesota may be starting over with a new GM that wants his own head coach.

Ah I was thinking Josh in NE...Mike could be an interesting idea but would be such a change in offensive styles

Miami has won 4 in a row including beating Buffalo. They have 3 winnable games in Pit, Bengals, and Bucs. Then their final game is against the Patriots who might lock up the #1 seed. Not saying they will win their next 4 but if they win 3, maybe McDaniel isnt let go?
