Well we had a big flurry of bingo squares earned last night, unfortunately all but one of them came because Mike Evans broke his collarbone and is out for the season, or nearly all of it, meaning he isn't getting to 1,000 yards or 10 TD.
A big shoutout to B-Rabbit for being the only person in the field to pick "blocked field goal" as a square this year. Nice grab!

Other than Dalton Schultz and team interceptions, the Texans are on pace to fall woefully short of every offensive square. Schultz was 9-98 last night and is now on pace for 85 catches for 690 yards.

Fairbairn should have told reporters Demeco was instructed to be able to field an NFL offense and he didn't do that.

It makes me believe this isn't the first time Fairbairn didn't follow instructions or he didn't get relayed the instructions.

I listened to his answer on that question, I wouldn't say that he threw him under the bus, it was a much more subtle response…he said something the affect of, the plan was to kick it out of bounds.
Waking up this morning and I still can't believe the utter ineptitude of offense that was last night.
It's one thing have a bad week and get beat by a team because you played like crap.
But to come off of a BYE and call those plays and run those personnel packages out there was incredibly mind blowing. The offense never stood a chance with that crap being the plan.
Time to tank for [insert whoever like it makes a damn difference] and clean house...AGAIN.

I admittedly haven't followed Miami closely but it seems the league has caught on to what he was doing.
Having said that, I have no idea what we should do. The offense needs so much work at virtually every level. Below average line and RB room. Receivers are OK but nothing special. Thought we had a special QB but he's regressing by the week. No indication that any of the coaches on that side of the ball know what to do about any of it. But I'm sure Nick will look down his bony nose at us and tell us he's not worried at his next press conference.
When are the Texans going to give the public / press a straight answer on the Mixon situation? Because all the rumors are miserable sounding.

Yes, lets turn to ANOTHER play caller who has never called a play in his life.
May as well go with Caley, CJ, Demeco and let them sink this ship all the way. And clean the entire house in the offseason.

I've got a buddy in the media. and ditto what the guy below me says, Mixon isn't going to play for the Texans again.
Too many red flags from Demeco to give him another OC out. He needs to wear this for another year and sink or swim.

There's a reason he's on the NFI. That is reserved for injuries or illness away from football.

I have no clue why he was back in there after a bye week. If Scruggs looked that bad at practice the GM should have made a trade as there are more than a few LGs available that are better than both.

Defense, DeMeco's specialty, is not the problem. If the OC is the GM's guy, he is the one that needs to fall.
