Thought I would post a couple of drafts I did on DraftKings for their Pre-NFL Draft $1MM Best Ball contest ($10 buy-in, $200K to 1st). They are currently running a promo that if you enter once by April 20th, you get a free second entry into the contest (can only use this promo one time). This contest is only a little over 60% full, so there will likely be overlay as the contest closes the afternoon of April 24th before the NFL Draft starts. After the Draft concludes, there will be new contests that open. I usually wait until preseason to do Best Ball, but the value was worth doing a couple of drafts for this contest. Anyway, here are my rosters:

Team #1 (2 QB/6 RB/9 WR/3 TE) - Pick 12
QB - P. Mahomes (Round 5), M. Penix (11)
RB - A. Jeanty (1), O. Hampton (4), K. Walker (6), T. Pollard (7), T. Allgeier (15), J. McLaughlin (20)
WR - D. London (2), R. Rice (3), H. Brown (9), M. Mims (10), X. Legette (13), C. Tillman (14), D. Slayton (16), M. Wilson (18), B. Cooks (19)
TE - T. Warren (8), K. Pitts (12), N. Gray (17)

Honestly, I screwed up by going too heavy on RB early, so I am weak at WR, which is why I drafted 9 WRs. The Chiefs stack is fine with Mahomes/Rice/Brown/Gray. Worthy was drafted right before I took Rice, and I got sniped on Kelce, though I think Gray provides sneaky value given Kelce's age. The Falcons stack is okay with Penix/London/Pitts/Allgeier, though I got sniped on Mooney. Since Allgeier is a RB2, I'm not too worried about negative correlation with the passing game.

Team #2 (2 QB/7 RB/8 WR/3 TE) - Pick 9
QB - L. Jackson (3), J. Herbert (10)
RB - N. Harris (5), T. Pollard (6), J. Warren (8), C. Skattebo (9), T. Allgeier (13), J. Hill (17), J. McLaughlin (18)
WR - N. Collins (1), L. McConkey (2), Z. Flowers (4), R. Bateman (11), Q. Johnston (12), A. Pierce (15), C. Tillman (16), C. Austin (20)
TE - M. Andrews (7), P. Freiermuth (14), N. Gray (19)

I much prefer this team over Team #1. Was planning on stacking both Collins and McConkey, but Jackson was available to me in Round 3 and I couldn't pass him up, so ended up stacking the Ravens instead of the Texans. I love the Ravens stack of Jackson/Flowers/Bateman/Andrews/Hill (Hill is more of a pass catching RB, so works for me). And I am happy with the Chargers stack of Herbert/McConkey/Johnston/Harris, though I think there is some negative correlation between Harris and the passing game. Maybe should have thought through the Harris pick a little more, however, he was my 1st selection at RB, so I needed a workhorse back and I liked Harris over other players available like Kamara and Conners.

Good luck to everybody as the 2025 Best Ball season starts to kick into gear!
