Is there like a mobile app from the app store for TexAgs that I can use for my iPhone. It'd be awesome if it had the high resolution for the retina display on the iPhone 4.

No actually that isn't what I mean.

You can add bookmarks to your homescreen from virtually any website. Just like if you went to the mobile version of Wells Fargo (https://www.wf.com/mba/?redirect=www) or the mobile version of Google (http://m.google.com/). Note these are both websites that are formatted for use by mobile devices. Each of these examples also has a stand-alone app that you can download from the app store.

I coukd be wrong but TexAgs mobile appears to be more/less a bookmark with some obvious changes to the layout and some loss of functionality for use on mobile devices. However there does not exist a "stand-alone" app that you would download from the app store.

I certainly not being critical of mobile texags. I'm happy to have it! I'm just pointing out that it isn't truly an app from what I understand.

Either way I know someone asks this every couple of months so that's why I made the initial post. Just forget it.

How did you add the date and battery percentage at the top?

The battery thing is under settings-general-usage. The date is a feature of the jailbreak if I remember right.

I did the jailbreak on my 3G. Definitely worth it but it was such a pain to go through that process everytime apple released an update.

Why would they bother writing apps for various platforms when they can just have a simple mobile site that works on most (or all) smartphones?
