What are y'all's recommendations for post apocalyptic games? Zombie survival games can be included as well. That genre always intrigues me.
Well you could probably consider Expedition 33 post apocalyptic. Its a good game if you haven't tried it yet and are itching for an RPG.cupcakesprinkles said:

I'm still playing 7 Days to Die. It's fun doing co-op. Version 2.0 is about to come out too.cupcakesprinkles said:

If you want to play the ultimate Zombie survival/simulator game, then check out Project Zomboid for PC. It's hardcore and has the most involved dev team I've ever seen for a game. Pretty incredible if you love the zombie genre. Only reason I haven't gotten into it quite yet (although I own it) is because it's challenging as hell.cupcakesprinkles said:

I'm one of those weirdos who prefers Secret of Evermore to Secret of Mana. I really like Secret of Mana and think it's a great game, but I'm with you in that I also think it's overrated and has more issues than people care to admit. Secret of Evermore is my favorite game on the SNES, I I feel like it's such an underrated gem.jr15aggie said:
I'm just about done with Secret of Mana via emulation on my Steam Deck... had it as a kid but I never beat it so I wanted to complete it 30+ years later.
I dunno, this game was way overrated if you ask me. The story is very weak/weird for an old school Squaresoft game and the user interface is pretty awful. The combat is supposed to be fast paced but the charge meter makes it incredibly slow.
The graphics/art and music are awesome... really brought me back... but the nostalgia factor was about the only reason I had fun with this game.

Days Gone
Horizon Zero Dawn and Horizon Forbidden West
I remember the waves that ran through reddit subs and neckbeards quivering nonstop when those mods first popped up. Pretty sure the productivity of the populace underwent a measurable downward trend. The Fife said:
Mass Effect 2 LE. It's the first time I've played any of the series on PC and it's way more fun thanks to mods! Easy resource mining and Fem Shep finally gets to hook up with Miranda.

Oh man. Rockstar drops this trailer and then makes us wait another whole year, probably more. Ugh.
Been debating on Indiana Jones. May have to give it a go.KidDoc said:
Finished up Indiana Jones- fantastic game
Started Dragon Age: Inquisition- only 11 years late but still looks and plays pretty good.

Well, i'm actually doing my first replay on my brand new gaming laptop with a 5090. Getting to enjoy full graphics and ultra ray tracing at 4K... looks absolutely amazing.
