Earth Defense Force games are just stupid mindless fun after the kids go to bed. Too tired for an epic story/fight/quest. Just fire up the Steam Deck, blow up giant bugs/robots/aliens for 15-30 minutes, go to bed.

Been playing Drop Duchy the last few days. It's a really neat game that is tetris, a deck builder, and a rouge-like all in one. It's a really cool concept that I have no idea how someone thought up but it's a lot of fun.

Just beat ME2 yesterday and I'm not sure which mod it was, but I'm really glad I did that while the kids weren't here because it's like full frontal before the suicide mission! Mass Effect 2 LE. It's the first time I've played any of the series on PC and it's way more fun thanks to mods! Easy resource mining and Fem Shep finally gets to hook up with Miranda.
Been meaning to play through the series again. I played them as they came out (with no DLCs) and then got the full trilogy on Steam when that released. Which of course I have yet to even download...
Anyway, still have a few loose ends to tie up since I wanted to clear out some of the random missions and the Arrival DLC because I remember liking that one a long time ago on Xbox. Then I'll probably move on to ME3 since I'm pretty sure Cyberpunk would do bad things to my computer...

I'll have to look into some of these mods. ME2 is my favorite game of all time, so the thought of changes is almost sacrilegious but some of them may be worthwhile. Not like I haven't beaten the game 13 times already.
Picked up Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon last night. Fantasy open world RPG in the vein of Skyrim. Obviously just started (~two hours in), but it's got style to spare. There's definitely jank, but I'm digging it thus far and it seems to have gotten some pretty good reviews.

$4 would be their first Tainted Grail game that's a deck builder that came out a few years back. You want the $45 newer one for the Oblivion style experience. Glad to see this latest entry is being received well, I've had it on my wishlist for what seems like forever.

The ME3 DLC Citadel is one of my favorites
It's a freemium game but I am pretty addicted to Game of Thrones Kingsroad- the lore is better than the last few seasons of the show and combat is pretty exciting. At lvl 17 not really pay to win at all more like pay for cosmetics or convivence.

Elden Ring Nightreign. Isn't typically my style of game but my love for ER has made be play it. Starting to enjoy it! It's a tough co-op game for sure as I need to play with randoms.
Playing some Thief Gold and i am very into the game even though i am playing it for the first time.
I finally got a docking station for my Rog Ally to use it more like a gaming PC and started playing Total War: Shogun 2. This is more my speed with the turn based style now that I'm older and slower. I tried AoE 4, but it was a bit too fast for me. Looking forward to playing through Shogun and trying out some of the newer games.
Why run on an XP laptop? You do know you can buy FO1 and FO2 on Steam, and they run fine?

I'm back on the Deadlock grind, couldn't recommend the game enough. Playing a multiplayer game that is in extreme active development is a lot of fun for me. The core gameplay loop and performance are good but everything else changes so much it reminds me of how some PC multiplayer games felt like 10ish years ago.
xbox had a sale so I bought all the lego games and I am having a blast

I'm really glad iOS doesn't show you how many hours you have on an app... I have ~150 hours on Steam, and i play 5x as much on my phone.
It really is amazing. I don't have that many hours , but I did have to delete it from the iPad because there was no way I was ever gonna sleep again if it had stayed.
I would recommend putting the originals on your Steam wish list to pickup on sale, just in case your CD is ever lost or scratched beyond use. I think I got the Fallout Classic Collection on Steam during a 90% sale for summer or winter. That collection includes 1, 2, and Tactics. I finished Cyberpunk 2077 and am now playing the Unchartered Thieves(?) bundle that I got for $5 some time ago.

Nice! Cyberpunk is a top 10 game, for me. It would be hilarious for those who never played during the initial release were to try the original 1.0 build for the game. It would blow their minds.

Is Cyberpunk on sale right now? I don't think my system is strong enough to run it well but if it's cheap I might as well pick it up for later.
