Ruger Mark III or Browning Buckmaster?

What say you and why?

Browning, because I like it's grip shape moreso than the MKIII (which we also have), and it's trigger is better as well. The regular BM's at Academy are cheaper than the MKIII's with adjustable sights too, although the price difference is less than it appears because the BM's come with just one magazine, while the Ruger comes with two (and a scope rail too).

You should just plan on getting both anyway. Put a reddot on one, and keep the other open-sight.....

My dad has a MK II, and we all maintain that is is the most fun to shoot. Very accurate little tack-driver, not too loud, heavy bull barrel (my dad has a shaky hand, so this helps his accuracy). This was one of the first pistols my dad got once all the chilluns were of age to shoot and hunt with, and some years later, we still bring it whenever we go shooting. Ruger doesn't make a terrible firearm.

I haven't had any experience with the MK III, but if it's anything like its predecessor, I'd be biased towards it.
