i wonder if it would kill a wasp?
according to FAQ, point blank will kill em!
I bought one for myself and one for my dad the last time they were posted on here.
I haven't really been impressed. It works at point blank range, but most bugs fly away when you get close to them with a giant yellow gun.

Saw these a while back and looked like fun. Haven't bought one yet.
I would think it would be a PITA to clean up salt all the time.
The wife bought me one last year for Xmas. I barely get to use it at the deer lease since all the 50-60 year old men won't put it down. The patio looks like a morgue of flies.
I'm like you chemist, really close to getting one.
My brother bought my dad and me one. My GF uses it all the time, and I like to keep it on my lap while having a stogie to keep at bay flys in the no-fly zone.

Get one. It is awesome,especially when cooking outside. It will kill big bugs too. Great father's day gift..haha

We keep ours in a drawer in the kitchen. It's our go-to for a fly in the kitchen. It's easy to get to within 2 feet and it's deadly at that range.
FYI there really is no mess to clean up (besides the dead fly). Yes it does leave salt behind but unless you shoot multiple times into the same corner or area it won't be noticeable.

Oh man, those things are awesome. Mine has killed hundreds of flies. This pic was from my personal best fly killing session. Had 'em working into piece of foil with some burger juice on it. Coulda kept going but I ran out of salt.
My old gen1 broke. Flies have been worse this year than I can ever remember. I'm gonna get one

Love mine, i do a lot of stalking in the kitchen after the door is left open cuz the stupid dog is taking forever to come back inside.
They're also effective on kids who don't mind.

These things are great. Gnats. Flies, Fruit Flies, Wasps, mosquitos not a problem. Just watch where you're swinging. Every spring I get an infestation of fruit flies. You get a couple in your kitchen drain and within 2-3 days I'll have a hundred. I bait them with a couple of drops of apple cider vinegar on the kitchen counter.

Must have got a head shot! Usually wasps are just pissed off by a Bug A Salt.
I'd be lying if I said she went down in the first shot.....there was possibly some hooting and hollering and some nervous ducking and diving.
I think the wings got torn up so it landed on the wall and we were able to clean it up from there

The boys get excited when they take one down in the air. Those flies can dart more than a dove, so good off season training. If you can hit a fly, you can hit a dove.
Mama is all "you'll shoot your eye out!" Whatever. The 12 year old and I tried it on our feet, not that bad.
Can't wait until we're ready for a big game hunt on some wasps. I like that they can fight back pretty good, more sporty.

3.0 is so much significantly better and accurate than the original generation (unless I had a dud).

I have a 1.0 still ticking, but it only has about a 50% one shot kill rate. Might have to grab a new and improved version.
