I am so very sorry for the loss of Mary Grace. I have followed this thread for the past three days and prayed for Mary Grace and the other children who were swept away. My family grieves for your loss and we are praying for your family and all of those who have lost someone.
I know some think it's weird to have a favorite funeral song but I do. This one was most requested back when I sang at funerals and I still love it.
I've been following along derm, and wrapping you and your family and the others throughout, in prayer. My deepest condolences. Will continue to pray for you, for miracles, even if they aren't the miracles we hope for, and for every family to get closure until they're reunited again in heaven.

So sorry for your loss Derm. We are neighbors to one of the other families and are putting up a green bow for their daughter. We will put one up for Mary Grace as well.

I edited my post to fix the error. I know it seems pointless now that the situation is so grim, but there have been people asking about specific girls here and there, so I figured I would document it with the best info I had. I know people have been putting the names of the girls in their prayers, so I suppose that is all we have left to do to help.cav8423 said:

This x 1000. I lost my wife to cancer last year and it means so much when people still share their stories and discuss their memories. It's not painful to me and it brings me joy knowing that she's not forgotten and had a positive impact on the lives of other. There are times that it just makes my heart whole again when people remember our son (we lost him 11 years ago)... while some people are hesitant to do it, thinking it will hurt, I can speak for myself that years down the road, it helps more to know he's not forgotten than the hurt it causes the heart.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Being with the Lord is a blessing, but not the one we have been praying for. Lifting your family and the other families affected up in prayer. Rest in love, Mary Grace.

I'm not sure there is scripture to support this, and I wish not to blaspheme but I can't help but think that the reception Jesus gives to children is unlike anything we know.

This one hit me very hard the last few days. Having followed this thread from page one, having three kids around these ages that attend camp and family friends whose daughters barely escaped in the early morning hours.
