Can anyone shed light on Glen. His background, years of camp work, home town ? He is a true hero and should receive wide admiration. Thanks if possible.

I'm only going to tell you the things that are easily found. He's a retired Houston cop. He moved to Hunt a few years ago. He's been working at the camp about 4 years or so.

He's a fairly private guy. I agree that he needs SO MUCH recognition but I want his wishes protected too.

Thank you for posting. I can't imagine the fear and courage all these girls had. My heart aches for those lost and their families, especially those in Bubble. It seems like no matter what decision was made it wasn't going to save them.

As a father of a 7 year old girl who did a 3 night camp just a week before, I can only imagine the pain of losing her this way. I look at her a bit differently now because dangers i thought she didn't need to worry about for years are now present.

God bless everyone who helped rescue these girls and for those that continue to pray for them.

Amen brother, Amen. I worked as a Police Officer in Arlington, and as a Lake Officer on Lake Arlington for 3.5 years. We averaged 12 drownings a year, but NOTHING like this. But, I've seen the heartache, the devestation...... I have an 8 yr old son. Lord, I pray these families find peace and beautiful memories of these bright shining souls who are now in Heaven.

The hole to poke here is thst the flood lines were altered. It isn't clear how low the 100 year lines were moved to in response to the camp appeals. Or if that is a media narrative also.

I would also question the water heights you show here given the water marks on the cabins. Those should be used to denote max height and marked as they are often used by insurance and FEMA for determining casualty payouts.

This is amazing to read through. I wonder if there will ever be data released showing how far drifting occurred. (I intentionally say that scientifically to make it detached from what the data points would be)

What I mean bluntly is I wonder if data of recovery spots will be released. Someone above mentioned that using flow rates and patterns they've been able to target certain locations to search and have had some success, I'd assume they're doing similar for the other missing folks from the trailer parks etc as well.

My wife was a camper at Arrowhead back in the 80's and has also been devastated by the tragedy of the flood.

The last thing I'm doing is discrediting his gesture, but it does look like he forgot one of the campers (looks like VH for Virginia Hollis). At the top he has Dick Eastland, then 13 rows of 2 for 26 campers.

This is a weird question.

How long will people be working to look for remains? Is it still considered SAR?

There are still huge piles of debris everywhere. So until those are moved they will keep looking. Now, if they have a bad smell they will send in dogs or look for remains.
