I've recently had the chance to sit down and read through all the kind responses, and I have to say I'm truly overwhelmed. The generosity, support, and unity of the Aggie Family never cease to amaze me.
I also wanted to share some joyful news. My daughter, Class of '18, and her husband, another proud Aggie just welcomed our first grandchild into the world! While recent events, especially the devastating floods, have made it difficult to smile at times, this little blessing has brought so much light into our lives.
And you better believe he'll be wearing maroon and white before he can walk. He'll be joining us soon at Kyle Field, Section 118, learning the yells and traditions that make Aggieland so special.
