Need some advice for my Gemstone Boxwoods. Planted last April. Have been lush and green until about a month ago. Started seeing some partial browning. Have seen plentiful rain and have good drainage. West side of house, so they get full afternoon sun. Located in BCS.

Boxwoods are also known to get hit hard by disease. I had them at my house when I purchased it and slowly lost sections of the plants and ultimately entire plants over 5 years. The local nursery told me it was a common occurrence in south Texas. I ended up removing them and planting India Hawthorne. Much more hardy and less maintenance. Too be fair mine were at least 15 years old so not the same situation as you. Good luck

I had the same experience. They just start turning brown no matter what. Tried pruning them and they never filled back out. I am slowing replacing with dwarf holly
